Google 為圖片搜尋結果增加顯示相關資訊選項

AI 生成的圖像也將被納入搜尋引擎中。

Google 在 I/O 2023 上公布了圖片搜尋服務接下來的一些改進方向。首先是順著今年早些時候，網頁搜尋開始為結果顯示「About this image」（關於這個結果）更多相關資訊的方向，圖片搜尋接下來也會增加「關於這張圖片」的選項。搜尋引擎會告訴用戶該圖片和類似圖片第一次被 Google 索引的時間，以及它最初可能出現在哪裡、圖片在網上會被發到哪些別的地方等內容。在 Google 看來，這些資訊可以幫助使用者弄清自己看到的東西是否是 AI 生成的作品。

點擊結果圖片的三個小點後你就能看到上面提到的新功能，Google 暫時沒說它上線的具體時間，只表示「未來幾個月內」會率先於美國推出。不過根據搜尋副總裁 Cathy Edwards 的說法，該工具目前還不會告訴用戶圖片是否被編輯或處理過，Google 還處在測試檢驗方法的階段。除此之外，Google 亦透露 AI 生成的圖像也將被納入搜尋引擎中。這些圖片會包括原始檔案中的標記，以便在其被使用時能提供有關創作的背景資訊（Midjourney、Shutterstock 等出版方都會使用這套標記方案）。

另一邊廂，Google 把以往只適用於美國 Google One 用戶的暗網報告服務擴展至所有擁有 Gmail 的美國用戶，讓他們知道自己的 Gmail 電郵地址是否出現在暗網上，同時會提供如何取得合適保障措施的指引，而且這掃描服務會在稍後進一步拓展至部份國際市場。

Google 已有透過應用 AI 技術來識別任何可疑網站及檔案，但為應對層出不窮的騙徒及詐騙手法， Google 推出全新安全瀏覽 API，希望藉此加速檢查及識別可疑網站的能力。官方預計每個月能在 Chrome 及 Android 中堵截額外 1,500 萬次網絡釣魚攻擊。
