在六月的時候，微軟就發佈了 Windows Phone 8 的相關資訊，不過那時候對 Office 功能沒有詳細的描述。而這次微軟的 Partner Group 項目主管 John Jendrezak 在 Office 的官方 Blog 上揭開了 Office Hub 的神秘面紗，讓我們可以一窺 WP8 上 Office 的特性。它和 Office 2013 的融合不僅僅是體現在介面上，Office 的檔可以從桌面端無縫同步到手機端。你可以通過雲服務的功能，使用手機打開最近的 Office 檔進行編輯。同時，他還暗示桌上出版的閱讀位置同步功能也會出現在手機版上，並提到了 Office Web Apps 的特性。不過這次透露的 WP8 Office 功能也是有限，更多的細節還有待官方繼續發佈，來源有更多的介紹可以看。
