Adobe 執行長談「雙A」之間的愛恨情仇

在All Things Digital D9 會議上，Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen 談起與 Apple 之間的愛恨情仇。

這一切都從 Flash 開始：Apple 指責 Adobe 的 Flash 有技術上的問題，但是 Shantanu 認為這根本不是技術問題，Apple 在意的是商業模式問題，他把這些爭執歸咎於因為 Apple 想要控制整個 iOS 平台，所以只讓內容提供者在瀏覽器（browser） 裡或者應用軟體（app）開發。

他同時提出解套方案：即使在無法執行 Flash 的場合，Adobe 的 AIR 技術，可以將內容包裝成軟體的形式，在 app store 裡發行，未來，也可以轉為 HTML5 的格式發行。

不過他很快的又對 Apple 補了一腳："What you saw with smartphones hitting an inflection point with Android, you'll see it again with tablets"，也就是說：就像 Android 手機出貨量 超過 iPhone，他相信 iPad 遲早會被可以執行 Flash 的 Android 平板電腦超過。
