Computex 2011：巨盛電子的硬體檔案鎖

巨盛電子是一家IC Design House，今年的Computex強打的技術，就是四款硬體檔案加密鎖，當然關鍵的硬體加密IC就是由巨盛一手打造。巨盛今年主打的產品有四款，分別為Secure Link、Secure Link Cable、Secure Link Pro、Secure Link Cable Pro。分別針對隨身碟、讀卡機、電腦內部檔案以及行動硬碟所設計。

不同於多數的檔案加密都是透過軟體方式，除了有被破解的安全性問題以外，為了滿足高安全性採用AES加密的方式，會對一些較為中低階的電腦如輕省筆電造成負擔。所以巨盛的技術是基於全硬體的設計，並且本身不具備儲存功能，提供較多的彈性。

Chesen Electronics is a IC design house, and their primary weapon at Computex this year is four different models of hardware encryption keys. They are: Secure Link, Secure Link Cable, Secure Link Pro and Secure Link Cable Pro and they are designed for USB drives, card readers and files stored internally in your PC, respectively.

Software encryption is more prone to hackers and will hog more CPU on not so powerful laptops such as netbooks. The solution from Chesen is more versatile.

巨盛的四款產品目前是針對Windows下的平台所設計，目前已經在著手包括OS X以及Android平台的相容。Secure Link是可將接上去的隨身碟或是SD卡的內容檔案進行加密，目前支援到FAT 32格式，相容最大64GB，在第一次需要在PC安裝軟體，而在對磁碟進行加密分割後，會自動產生自動安裝軟體到隨身碟中。

Currently, all four products are designed for Windows only but OS X and Android compatible versions are coming. Secure Link provides encryption for USB flash drives or SD card and supports FAT 32 up to 64 GB. You will be asked to install software before using it for the first time but everything is on auto after.


至於Secure Link Cable則是針對連接讀卡機的產品線，基本原理與Secure Link相同，而晶片則位於標準USB介面端。

Secure Link Cable encrypts card readers and works similarly as Secure Link, with a chip built into a standard USB port.


Secure Link Pro是直接針對電腦內檔案加密用的設計，所以不具備任何額外的輸入介面。


Secure Link Pro採用Y字線設計，晶片位於供電端，是針對外接式行動硬碟內檔案的設計。

巨盛表示，這系列產品的發想就是為了現在的檔案保護以及雲端的安全考量所設計，由於巨盛的技術是基於硬體AES加密，除非得知加密晶片的演算邏輯，否則一般不易突破加密。而做成USB介面，並且不涉及儲存部份，除了可以降低產品成本以外，也可讓使用者自行決定採用的儲存裝置，並且加密裝置與儲存分離，也間接提昇安全層級。

巨盛的加密介面會在桌面產生快捷連結，但是在接上加密硬體以前是無法開啟軟體的，而整個介面採用全圖形化介面，僅需把想要加密的檔案拖曳到圖框中，就可進行加密以及解鎖。除了硬體加密以外，還多了一層使用者密碼保護，達到多層的安全性。而加密後的檔案即便傳到雲端儲存，只要帶著硬體鎖，就可在其它電腦進行檔案解密的動作。

巨盛表示，目前已經的晶片是透過亂數加密動作，客戶如果有需求，也可針對特定的隨身碟或是行動硬碟品牌指定加密與解密，而未來如果客戶有需求，甚至可以鎖定僅能用特定的硬體鎖才能解密檔案的客製化。在防呆方面，巨盛也針對系統檔案以及系統隱藏檔進行篩選，避免消費者誤將系統檔案進行加密引起系統崩壞。

Secure Link Pro is a Y cable with a chip on the power side. It is designed for securing data in your USB drives.

Chesen states that their encryption is hardware based AES technology, so it is virtually un-crackable unless the perpetrator learns the algorithm inside the chip. Integrating the chips right into an otherwise ordinary USB cable helps lower the cost and give the user more options in the devices they wish to encrypt.

Also worth noting is that their software is graphic driven and is drag-and-drop and will work nicely with the cloud.
