窩...話說這東西看起來其實還蠻讓人感到傻眼的：主打快速、完整（可是不支援 Flash ==）上網功能的這台 Pocket Surfer2，聽名字就知道應該至少是第二代的產品（確定？應該是吧！），他最殺的地方，並不是硬體的部份，而是背後所綁的服務。

還是先介紹硬體先吧！螢幕為傳輸反射型（transflective）LCD，解低度在 640 x 240，處理器為 ARM 某一顆時脈不高的晶片，內建 GPS 模組，圖資採用 Google Maps，充電走 mini-USB，電力約 4 小時，重量 174 克。操作方面，則是可以透過方向鍵移動游標，聽起來好像真的沒啥賣點，不過最大的特色，還是他便宜到見鬼的上網費用。

單買一台機器就可以享有一年內每個月都可以免費上網三十小時（目前聽說有在香港跟中國推出，售價港幣 2,499 樣子...）的服務，透過不知道到底是怎樣的天線，竟然可以接受電信訊號上網（感覺應該是需要 SIM 卡，可是當場沒看到...因為沒找...），現場看到也只有收到 GPRS，所以不管這位熱心的印度解說人員怎樣解釋他們還有採用啥網頁資料壓縮技術，小編還是讀取網頁頗緩慢。

後來並沒有細問他們公司跟其他電信公司的合作方式，不過他們公司似乎很堅持這樣的行銷策略。跳轉後請收看更多圖片。

<Computex 2008: Pocket Surfer 2>

This little gadget is Pocket Surfer 2, a cursor key operated handheld designed for mobile web surfing over GPRS network. It uses a certain ARM CPU with not-so-high operating frequency, transflective LCD with 640x240 screen resolution, built-in GPS module with Google Maps as map source, mini-USB charged, 4 hours battery time and weights 174 grams.
The device comes with 30 hours per month free internet service for the first year bundled. The manufacturer boasts that it provides fast, complete (with no Flash support) web surfing function, and the enthusiastic representative told us that it deploys some kind of webpage compression technology to speed up page loading. However, in our trail, we still feel that web pages loading speed is rather slow.
