Computex 2008：訊連科技的PowerDVD以及Youcam

這一篇，應該是在電腦展中，難得的軟體介紹吧。真沒想到會看到CyberLink。所以啦，一定要拜訪一下的，不過，我來的時間似乎很不巧，因為他們剛好與微軟有約的樣子，所以我了解的時間，全程大約不到十分鐘吧。

大約只有兩點：
一、PowerDVD下一代的關鍵技術（不過TrueTheater技術，滿早就有了）
二、第二版Youcam特色（印象中這已經推出了吧）

[Cyberlink PowerDVD and Youcam]

You know, software exhibits are usually the oddballs at Computex, so we never thought we'd bump into Cyberlink here. We were going to have a good look at what Cyberlink has to offer, but they seemed to have a business meeting with Microsoft scheduled already. Too bad we only got to spend 10 min at their booth.

Two things you should know about Cyberlink this year: 1. The next version of PowerDVD will feature the True Theatre technology, an image enhancing algorithm that will deliver more saturated and sharper image. 2. Youcam, which is a webcam accessory software, will allow you to personalize your video chat winow.


在現場，是以分兩邊的方式，讓來的看觀看效果。TrueTheater 技術的功能，如果個人印象沒記錯的話，年初個人就有看過了，所談的是影像增強技術，簡單來說，就是用了之後，會感覺比較好。所謂感覺比較好，比如說飽和度較高啦、影像較銳利啦等等。


至於這畫面，無論是用相片還是錄影，也實在拍不出來。其實，右邊是原始訊源，會有頓頓的感覺，而左邊是他們加強過的影像很流暢。廠商提到，一般影片是30fps，他們可以加強到60fps，讓影像更流暢。


接下來談的是youcam，廠商簡單介紹第二版的特色。除了，可以用不同的特效、圖框之外。


可以直接播簡報或圖像的畫面。而且仍然可以保留自己的影像（上圖中右上角的部分），在工作上非常好用。
