BEIJING, Feb. 5, 2021 -- Photo released by the China National Space Administration CNSA shows the first image of Mars captured by Mars probe Tianwen-1 from a distance of 2.2 million km. China's Mars probe Tianwen-1 conducted its fourth orbital correction Friday night, according to the CNSA.    The probe carried out the orbital correction at 8 p.m. Beijing time, aiming to ensure that the probe achieves a sound planned rendezvous with Mars.    The CNSA also said the probe had captured the first image of Mars from a distance of 2.2 million km.    The probe has traveled about 197 days in orbit, flying about 465 million km. 中國國家航天局日前宣佈,中國首次火星探測任務「天問一號」探測器已順利完成地火轉移段第四次軌道中途修正,以確保按計畫實施火星捕獲。「天問一號」在距離火星約 220 萬公里處拍攝到的火星圖像也已經順利傳回,這是中國的首幅火星圖像,標誌著中國航太史上的又一座里程碑。截止到目前,天問一號已在軌飛行約 200 天,距離地球約 1.84 億公里,距離火星約 110 萬公里,飛行里程已達到約 4.65 億公里,探測器各系統現在都狀態良好。

從航天局給出的對比圖中可以看到,包括阿茜達利亞平原、克律塞平原、子午高原、斯基亞帕雷利坑,以及最長的峽谷 — 水手谷等火星標誌性地貌在圖像中都清晰可見。如果不出意外的話,「天問一號」將於 2 月 10 日進入火星軌道,探測車則會在五月著陸烏托邦平原。實際上,早在 2011 年時,中國就曾希望藉俄羅斯火箭之力將自己打造的首顆火星探測器「螢火一號」送往火星。但因為火箭晶片的設計問題,最終該任務並沒有成功。十年之後,中國自己的航太技術已經有了長足的進步,天問一號如果能順利完成此行,對中國接下來的航太發展應該能起到很大的激勵作用吧。
