據指 Apple 的 AR / VR 頭盔會以瞳孔掃描來登入和認證付款

硬體規格也會較 Meta Quest Pro 先進。

一直都在傳言當中的 Apple AR / VR 頭盔，今天再多一個規格流出了。據 The Information 引述消息所指，Apple 的混合實景裝置將具備瞳孔掃描功能，用以進行帳戶登入、付款認證等功能，便利使用者可以直接入手 app，甚至可以支援多用戶使用呢。Apple 拒絕回應相關報導，不過他們曾被指在 2017 年時，收購了開發眼睛追蹤技術的 SensoMotorics 公司，同時產業分析師郭明錤也在 2021 年提及到有瞳孔偵測方案的 Primax 會成為 Apple 供應商之一。

最近主打元宇宙的 Meta 剛好推出了他們的高階 VR 頭盔 Quest Pro，The Information 同時也獲得了一些硬體規格相關的資訊，說是 Apple 的 AR / VR 頭盔會有更多的 14 個相機作偵測，可以做到全身運動追蹤，而非只有 Meta 強調的腿。另外據指 Apple 會結合鋁、纖維和玻璃等材質來打造他們的頭盔，重量也會較 Quest Pro 的 726g 輕一點，但具體數字就沒有分享。

過去的傳聞就有指 Apple 會用上 Mac 電腦同級的自家晶片（M2）和非常高解析度螢幕，同時卻會採用足夠提供自然觀賞體驗的相對低畫面刷新率，用以減低功耗。有指會在 2023 年亮相的 Apple AR / VR 頭盔將會定價高達 3,000 美元，所以即使規格較 Meta Quest Pro 強，也有可能限制了消費者選擇投入 Apple 家混合實景生態的意欲。
