Lenovo IdeaPad U8已經現身好一陣子了（事實上這次Intel的MID展示幾乎都是老面孔，主力都跑去輕省筆電了啊...）不過這台的處境還真的有點可憐，在Intel展區裡竟然連個介紹牌都沒有，而且這台似乎也少了一點軟體（而且介面也和之前的影片不太一樣？）。不過反正我也沒玩過，就亂試一下吧！實際用起來的感覺的話，觸控操作上還算順暢，右上角的滑鼠控制鈕還挺好用的。

Lenovo IdeaPad U8 has been around for a while. It seems to be left out in the cold while the section for the ultra-portables is jammed. The user interface does not appeared quite the same as I remembered. It actually runs smoothly and the cursor control at upper right comes pretty handy.

其實呀，就算沒有上面的「超夯科技」，我也很好奇的。所以，佳樂科（Joyplux）呀，下次DM就別再夯了吧。

我想任何一個人只要經過這個攤位，看到這樣的DM，多多少少都會有些好奇，也都會想要進去玩一玩，體驗一下，還頗特別的。

<Computex 2008: Joyplux Touch Screens>
Joyplux Technologies, manufacturer of touch screen products in Taiwan, showcases several touch screen attachment products.

這幾款周邊相信各位都有看過，而且事實上，還有不少廠商有展出。不過在台灣市售市場好像不是很普遍，希望經過這次展出後，在台灣能夠多出現一些。（有些東西，雖然在細節上多少不同，但已經有不少廠商推出了）

上圖是3.5吋大小，記憶卡轉硬碟，這個東西讀者應該很清楚了吧？不知有沒有讀者買這種東西來玩。左邊是用CF卡，右邊是用SD卡。

話說這次世貿一館的二樓，還真不是一般的無聊，不過藏在當中，還是有些不錯的東西，就像是這個由微光科技（MicroNits Co, Ltd）推出的數位電子白板系統。

雖然他叫做筆大師，不過真正用途其實算是用來取代傳統電子白板的功能，操作上靠的是一隻多功能遙控（跳轉後影片中有！），除了可以充當鐳射筆用，透過上圖攝影機/感應器捕捉鐳射光影（據說其實還有相當多的感應器配合），將光點訊號傳送到電腦中，電腦就會順著光點讓滑鼠移動（要操作要先按下遙控上的兩顆鍵，一顆發射鐳射光，另一顆啟動滑鼠功能），另外他們最驕傲的地方，是以這個系統手寫文字的準確度，過去我們曾經看過有人透過 Wii 做過類似的事，但在操作的靈敏度上卻顯得不足。

除了透過上面的方式輸入之外，只要將遙控的一端像是筆尖的部份，在投影牆上畫一畫，也可以寫字、操作電腦。講了個口沫橫飛，相信大家一定是一點感覺都沒有，跳轉後請收看實際示範影片！

跳轉前補充一下產品資訊，這東西目前基本上是在學校使用居多，別太驚訝，聽說是在桃園的幾間小學有安裝，所以基本上一般人要買還不容易（真有需要的人也是不多吧！），而且售價相對傳統電子白板雖是便宜，但還是破二十張小朋友...

<Computex 2008: MicroNits Showcase Electronic Whiteboard without a Whiteboard>

MicroNits showcase their PenGrandMaster (PGM), an alternative presentation tool designed to replace conventional electronic whiteboard. The system works by using a combination of a multi-function remote, adigital camera / sensor and a projector. The user simply draw or write with the laser pointer on the remote, and the sensor will track laser dot's movement and send the signals back to the computer to be projected on the screen. The remote can also double as a wireless mouse.

省碳節能的觀念大流行，相關產品也有許多。隨意逛逛的時候，突然發現某個攤位所使用的檯燈不太一樣，所以就走過去看看。

原來是使用LED的檯燈，我想，LED燈的使用，各位應該不陌生，搞不好可能手上就有一支LED燈的手電筒。不過，把LED用於檯燈上，還頗少見。所以就特別走過去了解一下這款檯燈的規格。

我們曾經報導過的 Netronix 這次被我們撞到了實機。Netronix 其實是 ODM 廠商，所以是要有人下單他們才願意做的。蠻可惜的啊！300 美元的是之前提過的 EB100 6" 電子書（上圖），5" 的版本還更便宜，只要 200~250 USD。不論大小都支援 TXT、PDF、RTF、CHM 等文字格式，也可以看 JPG、GIF、BMP 格式的圖片。更有趣的是，它還內建了 MP3 播放的功能，讓你可以邊看書邊聽音樂。

EB-100 內建 128~512MB 的記憶體（看 ODM 需求），採用 Linux 作業系統，並且支援 SD 卡的讀取（但不支援 SDHC）。預計電池可以支撐翻頁 8000 次，不過開 MP3 的話就只剩 1~2 個小時。

Netronix 也在研發採用 CE 作業系統的電子書，CE 版的將可選擇性的支援 WiFi 或甚至觸控面版。

[More affordable e-Readers are on the way]

We covered this e-Reader from Netronix before, and we finally see it in person. Netronix is actually an ODM company, so you can expect to see this e-Reader under other brand names. The 6" EB100 is priced at $300 USD, and the 5" version will land somewhere between $200 - $250 USD. Both sizes will support various text formats such as TXT, PDF, RTF and CHM, as well as JPG, GIF and BMP. It also plays MP3 files.

EB-100 houses 128 to 512MB of memory (depending on the ODM), which can be expanded with an SD card (SDHC is not supported). It runs on Linux, but a CE version is on the way (which will eventually support WiFi and touch screen). The battery will last about 8000 pages, or 1 to 2 hr with MP3 playback.

不知道各位對於隨身小喇叭的需求如何？

上面那組由 GRANDMAX 這家所推出的小喇叭 TWEAKERS，除了體積小、攜帶方面、外型特殊之外，最有趣的還是他的收納方式；上圖是徹底伸展後的樣貌，收納的時候，除了可以將連接兩個喇叭的 mini-USB 藏到其中一個的內部之外，那個像彈簧的機構，也可以壓下、轉上，最後透過底下的磁吸卡榫相連，體積會就縮到一個不行。

供電方面，可以直接透過 USB，裡頭也有顆鋰電池，單次充電（USB）約可使用 5 至 7 小時；戶外使用可以將藏在其中的 mini-USB 相接，平常則是可以透過隨機附的接頭組（一條三頭線，兩頭 mini-USB，另一頭則是接上電腦用的 USB）相連，輸入音源則是透過 3.5mm 插孔。

[Tweakers USB speakers]

This pair of tiny Tweakers USB speakers not only looks cute but also features a unique construction for easy storage. The Tweakers in the above picture are in their fully extended position. When you need to pack up, simply hide the USB cord in the belly of one of the Tweakers, press down on the cap, and turn them around so the hidden magnets will hold them together.

The Tweakers runs on either USB or an integrated lithium battery, which will last 5 to 7 hr on a single charge. The two units can be connected with a mini-USB cable. Input is via a standard 3.5 mm jack. More pictures after the link.
