Computex 2008：結尾與花絮

上周五晚上的時候，我們在某家涮涮鍋聚餐（慶祝撐過Computex展？，其實還有很塞的周二凌晨呀Orz）。老板問我們跑computex有啥感想，那時我只想說，為什麼肉可以無限供應，但飲料只能一杯......。

雖然個人對於Computex有一些話要談談，但感想比不上讀者「不笑的老K」來得中肯，個人引用他的話來做個本篇的開始：

總括來說，今次展覽的內容大致上就是今年 1～5 月所有產品的大雜燴，撇開 Hidden booth 以及 NDA 未到期的東西不算，今年的 Computex 還真是平淡啊。

　（不景氣的味道越來越濃厚了）

其實還是有新東西啦，只是不在大廠上，關心的程度就比較低。順帶一提，剛看了我們文章的排程，沒有意外的話，我這篇應該就是Computex的最末篇了（除非有其他同事今天要出）。所以就補個遺，並且聊一聊我看到的一些不成系統的東西吧。

Computex 2008：AMD Showgirl集集樂

這麼多AMD SG，你要選哪一個？？？

在這次的Computex，各家廠商都有自己的SG軍團，其中AMD的SG最為吸引Annti注意。其原因不是他們最正，而是他們有個「SG尋寶」的遊戲。

[AMD SG treasure hunt (what?)]

Many companies at Computex have their own showgirls. However, we like the showgirls from AMD the most, not because they are the prettiest of them all but because they have a "SG treasure hunt" game. How it works is the showgirls are dispersed in the exhibition hall to give out passports, and the each showgirl has a sticker. So you have to walk around the exhibition hall to find at least 3 of them, collect the stickers, and you can redeem a cup of coffee at the AMD booth. It's actually pretty easy, because there are 14 showgirls on 4F and 3 more hiding in the 1st exhibition hall. We were ambitiously going to collect all of them, but we only managed to get 8.

Computex 2008：實際運作中的散熱史特林引擎

還記得 MSI 的史特林取熱主機板嗎？我們這次在 Computex 上碰到了這個技術的原設計製告商 Polo Tech，而他們在現場就有一個實際運作中的大型史特林引擎在展示。這種大型的史特林引擎技術上還不算完全成熟，所以展示機也就純粹只是展示而已，短時間之內還不會量產，反倒是小一號的（在繼續閱讀裡）已經準備完畢，可以上市。

Remember MSI's Sterling heat-driven mainboard cooler? We happen to run into the original designer, Polo Tech, who has a larger version of this Sterling engine cooling fan doing live demonstration in Computex.
This larger version is not technically ready for the mass market; therefore this demonstration unit is purely for demonstrating the technology, won't hit the mass market in short time. However, the smaller version, as shown below, is ready to hit market in sometime soon.

在這次的Computex，南港會館有個很醒眼的存在，因為理應這次是「滿天都是輕省筆電，滿地都是觸控螢幕」的會場，竟出現一部寶獅~~206~~207CC（感謝來恩上兵）...

For this Computex's NanGang Exhibition Hall, there is something that catches everyone's eyes. In this supposed to be 'Look-up you see ultra-portables, look-down you see touch screens" show ground, there is one Peugeot 206207CC（Thanks Private Ryan）...

小編在自家網站看了這麼多次的 USB 飛彈發射器，這總算是親眼見到，親手玩到，可惜新鮮感早就沒了；不過現場竟然發現了一件有趣的事情...

這是在日立攤位中央的一張桌子上，由日立集團旗下各企業提供零件併出來的電晶體街景圖，代表著日立對台灣的熱愛喔！

Computex 2008：青雲（Albatron）RF 多重觸控螢幕動手玩！

總之，就是玩到了！咱們一在主站看到這消息，就忍不住手養到人家的攤位看一下；在這台 22 吋、解析度 1680 x 1050 的螢幕上，初體驗的感覺還算不錯，但是由於現場紅外線滿天飛，也讓操作起來有時會有怪怪的抖抖出現。

Comuptex 2008：「我很小，但是我很夠力」，VIA miniITX架構發表

應該可以說了，微星Wind Board就是使用威盛miniITX的架構（請參考Computex 2008：Kingston攤位的微星展示機），意即CPU就是VIA Nano。

令Annti眼睛一亮的是這張17cm見方的裸機，在現場就跑起Crysis（雖然是用NV 8500GT的顯卡），然後再秀出同時播放FullHD影片與戰慄時空的展示，對用慣Intel與AMD CPU或許沒啥了不起，但是這張小板子與CPU都是道地的「Made In Taiwan」，台灣終於有一顆上得了檯面的CPU，怎能讓Annti不興奮。

It's time to reveal the truth: the Wind Board from MSI is based on VIA mini-ITX (please refer to our previous post "Computex 2008: Kingston booth" to see the demo model from MSI). In other words, its CPU is actually VIA Nano.

This little guy is truly amazing. The setup in the picture not only runs Crysis and Half-Life 2, but also plays Full HD movies (with a NV 8500GT). What's so special about that, you say? Both the CPU and the motherboard are designed and made in Taiwan!

Computex 2008：去吧，以賽亞

以賽亞書：「你們若甘心聽從、必喫地上的美物，若不聽從、反倒悖逆、必被刀劍吞滅。這是耶和華親口說的。」Annti拿來類比威盛與某I開頭公司的「曖昧情況」，不知道適不適合...

回到正題，威盛今天在Computex發布了代號Isaiah的C8，Annti只能說：「等你好久了！」

[VIA Nano is officially announced]

VIA's million-dollar baby C8 (code name Isaiah) is officially renamed Nano at Computex. According VIA, Nano is meant to extend their product lines instead of replacing the C7. Some basic info on the infrastructure is listed in the picture above. Also, Nano is compatible with the C7 socket, supports x86 and 64-bit OS, and comes with a 1MB L2. The TongFang Imini SI Mini-Note is the only ultra-portable notebook with a Nano heart at Computex. VIA's other partners could not get their demo model ready in time for the exhibit.

Computex 2008：青雲攤位的「怪機絲」

這次的Computex，在青雲的攤位上看到一個奇怪的東西，有觸控操作，也能上網，跑得是微軟的嵌入式系統，且相當輕薄。

經詢問後得知概念性產品，只是Annti不知道怎麼定義這個裝置，PDA？Handheld？UMPC？MID？可真難分...

<Computex 2008: Albatron Handheld>
This touch screen operated ultra-slim concept handheld device is from Taiwanese manufacturer Albatron. The device is running on Microsoft Windows Embedded OS and is web-capable.
