「咦，山寨機」我走到一個地方，看到一款我們曾經報導過大陸所做的MP4。攤位有個人走出來，問我什麼是山寨機，他看到我指的機種，便笑笑說：「喔，那是公模啦，如果你有訂製需求的，可以做出來給你們」。

所以說起來，就是所謂的「禮品公司」？雖然是MP4吸引個人的目光，不過事實上，他們最大宗的還是隨身碟。無獨有偶，我們的Annti桑也有跑到一家同樣類型的公司，至於要求數量，說是說1K，不過真的有預算上的問題話，百支也是可以的。只是單位價格會有所不同就是了。

[Bored of your USB drive? We have some ideas.]

MITS Corp. of China makes all kinds of USB drives; name it cars, knives, key chains or wrist bands. If you can come up with your own design, they will make it to order with a minimum order of a thousand. It sounds like they are the same type of company as Hallmark that makes cute gift ideas. 當我在接觸電腦不久的時候（雖然我接觸電腦的時間不算早，不過算算也超過十年了），有個名詞非常流行，據說是來自於某泡麵名稱。無論是程式還是遊戲，只要有那一片光碟就行了。當年的光華商場，還曾經盛行一段時間，在門口邊，或是走廊邊，都會有人站在著那邊，放著一本本的目錄，讓人參考。據說一片光碟賣一千元，而且還有可能假的或壞掉的，若遇到這樣的事情，去論理還會被恐嚇，不過我也是聽說啦，因為我沒有在光華買過大補帖。

不過，總是會對於大補帖的產能好奇。總不可能自己在家，一片片慢慢燒吧，一定有個大量生產的機制。一直到看到的瞬間，終於可以想像了。

[The ultimate disc burner]

In the old days, pirated CDs were sold in dark corners of markets. You can get any game or software at a fraction of its retail price (we do not encourage buying pirated software). You can look up what you want in a printed catalogue and tell the "pimp," and they'll hook you up. Sometimes they'll even sell you fake or broken CDs. I always wonder how they manage to burn so many discs in such a short amount of time. This machine might be the answer.

PQI 今年展出了幾個概念性的 Flash 記憶體產品，都不是短時間之內會上市的。上圖的 Express Combo Card 是其中的一個，基本上就是一根自帶 USB 接頭，又可以插進 ExpressCard 槽的記憶卡，讓有 ExpressCard 的筆電享受 ExpressCard 的快速，但沒有的時候還是能把資料讀出來。

PQI 的這個隨身碟和 Computex Taipei 創新設計獎的得獎作品 Swing Duo USB 快閃碟有異曲同工之妙，只是 Swing Duo 是兩片對開的隨身碟，而 PQI 的版本則是可以一個夾一個，要疊多少個都可以，更方便整理資料。只是為什麼要把 Sample 泡在水裡呢？（還有一個小貝殼在上頭）

This USB drive from PQI shares a similar design to the Swing Duo USB that won the Computex Taipei d&i Award. The Swing Duo comes in a pack of two, but you can stack up the PQI USB indefinitely. It opens up like a Swiss knife, and allows you to physically organize data.

說真格的，3C 產品配上什麼明星，不管娜姊或史努比狗狗，看了這麼多，個人認為都是沒什麼意義的產品。上個月參加 WiMax Expo 推廣記者會，拿到一款由方土司做的 MP3 雖身聽當紀念品（這個以後會當贈品送給大家），好死不死裡面裝了周董新專輯的歌曲，我連想都不想就把歌曲給殺掉了...

不過最近這樣的觀念有點被動搖，首先是四月份手機銷售量那件事，我愚昧不知的賤兔手機竟然佔有 0.8% 的銷售量，難道就像朱宅神說的有蔣帥灌頂就會發光嗎？前幾天帶 Casper 去中華電信換第一天使用就掛點的華為 3.5G 網卡，Casper 竟然驚見有人當場購買 Armani 手機，嚇到當場找不到下巴。

原來我太以3C產品本身的觀點看大眾市場，殊不知這些明星或品牌真的有魅力。所以當金士頓（這篇真的廢言到底了，寫到這裡才開始主題）決心以後出什麼隨身碟都要盡力找明星/遊戲/娛樂產業合作時，我心中竟然從不解轉到理解的，包括橫掃中南美洲瑞奇馬丁的隨身碟兼microSD讀卡機、印度人人愛的寶萊屋猛男歌舞隨身碟和感覺外型還要加強的魔獸隨身碟。

金士頓的人員也指出，希望進一步和台灣的相關產業結合，大家趕快來合作。所以下半年看到什麼神奇的隨身碟，大家不要太驚訝喔！

<Computex 2008: Kingston Celebrity Flash Drive>
Kingston taps into pop culture industry, showcasing several of their celebrity flash drive products. The celebrity flash drives are flash drives with exclusive or special contents like songs, wallpapers, video clips and etc. Kingston representatives told us they are looking into working with celebrity / gaming / entertainment industries in Taiwan and elsewhere for more of these flash drives with exclusive contents.

金士頓即將要推出的隨身碟 DT Slim，雖然外表看起來沒有什麼獨特之處，不過這款隨身碟改善了這種小小片型隨身碟的不方便之處 -- 插進 USB 很難拔起來 -- 就是尾端有作突起，這樣在拔隨身碟時會方便許多。規格上 DT Slim 有 8 GB 容量，最高讀取速度 5 MB/sec，最高寫入速度 1.5 MB/sec。外型體積 38x12.35x44 mm，並擁有五年保固。

這款產品沒有任何難度，應該會在不久的將來靜悄悄地上市...

[DT slim : Kingston's new memory stick]

The DT Slim Kingston is about to put out does not look special at all. But it has some modification for convenience. The small and flat memory sticks make you look awkward when you try to pull it out. The DT Slim has a raised ridge at the end and gives you something to grab on to. Besides the considerate feature, the specs are : 8GB flash memory, max read speed 5MB/sec, max write speed 1.5MB/sec, with a size of 38x12.35x44 mm and 5 years warranty.

飛利浦建興（PLDS）在現場展出多款燒錄機，有的是已經上市，有的是即將上市。其中還有一款USB供電外接式的薄型DVD燒錄機（真的要哭了，前天才買一款3.5吋外接式的光碟機，真是超級麻煩）。

Philips-Liteon presents several new DVD burners at Computex. There is a super slim external 8X DVD-RW that caught our eyes. It takes power from only one USB port, and it even comes in 2 different flavors, pearl white and dark red. Other cool products include a 6X Blue Ray DVD-Combo drive and a 22X DVD-RW.

除了2.5吋硬碟之外，Buffalo還有NAS產品推出。LinkStation Mini裡面有兩顆2.5吋硬碟（據說這裡面放的是兩個500GB）。能放兩個硬碟，自然就意味著會有RAID 0/1的功能此外，也內建iTunes伺服器與DLNA支援，並可以直接與數位相機或DV連結讀取檔案。（這麼昂貴的東西還消費用，真好Orz）

<Computex 2008: Buffalo NAS Product Line>
Apart from 2.5" HDD, Buffalo also have their NAS products on display. The LinkStation Mini have two 2.5" HDD(2x500G?), which implies RAID 0/1 functions. The device also have built-in iTunes server and DLNA support, capable of reading files directly from digital camera or DV connected to it.
