前一篇提到過，昨天實在是不小心的一天，感謝毅威的緊急充電站，讓筆者相機的電池得以充50％的電力，來繼續使用。但很遺憾的，想不到跑到快結束時，我的相機又沒電了，50％電力這麼不中用嗎？不知道是不是我的電池快不行了。於是乎，我又去毅威那邊，來緊急充電一下了。

緊急充電要十分鐘，好吧，總是要找些話題來聊聊，所以就聊到他們已經推出的消費型充電器，講了許多的優點，是不是這麼好，我不知道，不過我是買了一個回來就是了。特色如下：
一、相容性高：
市面只要談到3C產品的鋰電池，只要是3.6V（還有另一款還可以加上7.2V）.幾乎都可以充。

二、夠方便：
可用AC電源充、可用三號電池充、而且一次最多可充三個。

三、還算簡單的操作介面：
不用辨識正負極，只要裝進去後，燈亮正常，就可以進行充電。

<Computex 2008: IWEI Technology, Revisited>
In the flat battery incident mentioned in earlier post, thanks for IWEI's emergency charging station, I got 50% of battery capacity to help me through the afternoon. Unfortunately, the battery ran flat again towards the end of the day, so I returned to IWEI for a top-up. While charging the battery, we talked about their iWap charger for general consumers, here are the features:

1. High compatibility – can charge almost any 3.6V batteries used in current 3C (consumer, computing, communication) electronics products. A 3.6V/7.2V version is also available.
2. Convenient – can draw power from AC power supply, AA batteries. Up to three batteries can be charged simultaneously.
3. Easy-to-Use – the device is equipped with automatic polarity detection which detects correct polarity to charge.

窩...話說這東西看起來其實還蠻讓人感到傻眼的：主打快速、完整（可是不支援 Flash ==）上網功能的這台 Pocket Surfer2，聽名字就知道應該至少是第二代的產品（確定？應該是吧！），他最殺的地方，並不是硬體的部份，而是背後所綁的服務。

還是先介紹硬體先吧！螢幕為傳輸反射型（transflective）LCD，解低度在 640 x 240，處理器為 ARM 某一顆時脈不高的晶片，內建 GPS 模組，圖資採用 Google Maps，充電走 mini-USB，電力約 4 小時，重量 174 克。操作方面，則是可以透過方向鍵移動游標，聽起來好像真的沒啥賣點，不過最大的特色，還是他便宜到見鬼的上網費用。

單買一台機器就可以享有一年內每個月都可以免費上網三十小時（目前聽說有在香港跟中國推出，售價港幣 2,499 樣子...）的服務，透過不知道到底是怎樣的天線，竟然可以接受電信訊號上網（感覺應該是需要 SIM 卡，可是當場沒看到...因為沒找...），現場看到也只有收到 GPRS，所以不管這位熱心的印度解說人員怎樣解釋他們還有採用啥網頁資料壓縮技術，小編還是讀取網頁頗緩慢。

後來並沒有細問他們公司跟其他電信公司的合作方式，不過他們公司似乎很堅持這樣的行銷策略。跳轉後請收看更多圖片。

<Computex 2008: Pocket Surfer 2>

This little gadget is Pocket Surfer 2, a cursor key operated handheld designed for mobile web surfing over GPRS network. It uses a certain ARM CPU with not-so-high operating frequency, transflective LCD with 640x240 screen resolution, built-in GPS module with Google Maps as map source, mini-USB charged, 4 hours battery time and weights 174 grams.
The device comes with 30 hours per month free internet service for the first year bundled. The manufacturer boasts that it provides fast, complete (with no Flash support) web surfing function, and the enthusiastic representative told us that it deploys some kind of webpage compression technology to speed up page loading. However, in our trail, we still feel that web pages loading speed is rather slow.

以鍵盤來說，要看到有跳躍性的創新設計，實在不太可能。不過今年倒是看到一支與眾不同的數字鍵盤，名稱就叫「Diamond」。看到他，讓我想到那支HTC的鑽石機。此外，還會發出藍色的光芒。不過沒電了，現在沒辦法示範。

今年的明哲（DATACOMP），讓筆者意外了一下。

We haven't seen any cool keyboards in a while, but this numpad from Datacomp immediately caught our eyes. It reminds us of the latest phone from HTC because they both share the name "Diamond." It will light up with sexy blue backlit, but the demo model was out of battery, so we didn't catch it.

如果讀者有機會經過CHOIIX這攤的話，眼光一定會被吸引。展區佈置得非常生活化且有個性。在聊的時候，廠商人員提到他們是Cooler Master分出來的，筆者順口說，這點對於我們（消費者）其實並不重要XD。

之所以會這樣說，是因為也許廠商認為大家（包括我）對於這個CHOIIX並不認識，所以拿出了Cooler Master品牌讓我熟悉一點。不過，個人認為，即便是名氣不是很大的品牌，但若產品有他的特殊性，而且也很積極的話，那更應該直接講「CHOIIX」。所以啦，還不如跟我解釋這「CHOIIX」是啥才對吧。他們提到，其實這就是choice的法文，只是多加一個I。

好吧，我只能說人總有失手的時候，跑會展時，個人的相機電池帶個兩個是很正常的。不過不知昨天是怎麼回事。居然忘了帶另一顆充滿的。就只靠一顆副廠的相機電池來撐，沒想到跑到一半，相機就沒電力了。

有時候，人生就是這麼樣的巧合，此時的我，正好站在這攤毅威( IWEI )前面，正在研究這附近攤位有沒有值得報導的產品。啊哈，這麼巧，馬上就看到充電產品。

筆者問廠商，這充電器是幹嘛的。他提到，這是公共場所用的充電器，只要你電器產品，不管是什麼樣形狀的電池，只要所用的是3.6、3.7V的電力來源，就可以用他來充電。充電時間10分鐘，可以充到50％的電力。

所以啦，筆者馬上就把相機電池拿出來，來進行驗證。10分鐘後，聽到嗶嗶響，就裝進相機，試了一下，有電，繼續個人的行程了。

<Computex 2008: iWap Emergency Speedy Charger from IWEI>
Life is full of surprises. When my digital camera ran out of battery today, I happened to be standing in front of IWEI Technology's showroom, which was packed with various kind of battery chargers. The representative introduced me to this iWap Emergency Speedy Charger, which can charge any shape of 3.6V or 3.7V battery to 50% full in 10 minutes. I took the battery out my camera, and put it into the machine. 10 minutes later, I left the showroom with charged battery, and this photo.

在逛到ECS的攤位時，不小心瞄到工作人員在玩一台小小的機器，走近一看才發現是一台Windows CE的機器。應該也可稱作MID吧？支援WiFi、GPRS，鍵盤不錯按（人家之前可是拿來連MSN呢！）對方表示這台機器主要只是展示硬體設計用的，跑Windows CE也只是為了更快作產品展示，除非有廠商下單，否則目前也沒有生產的計畫。那，我可以建議先升級到3G嗎？

[A MID prototype from ECS?]

We spotted this machine while walking around at ECS' booth. It runs on Windows CE, supports WiFi and GPS, and it's even got a nice keyboard (they demoed IM with MSN). Can you call this a MID? They say this prototype is for showing off their hardware design. There's no plan for putting it in production unless someone orders it. Then, may we suggest upgrading it to 3G?
