BenQ的這隻S6應該是今天所看到的MID裡最符合我的想像的機器。雖然算是個老面孔，不過拿掉紅色邊框後變得穩重許多。介面的設計上也很完整，比較沒有一執行程式就見光死的現象。對我來說，這是MID評分的重要因素。沒有適度的針對機體重新設計適合的介面（U8就做的不錯），即使再強悍的功能也沒有辦法讓使用者「流暢」的使用，那麼MID的精神就失去了。800x480的解析度，支援WiFi、藍芽和HSDPA...規格大家都會背了，我們來說點規格沒寫的吧？

這一台也是舊面孔了，在已經充滿各式奇怪MID的世界裡，這一台外觀上實在不怎麼起眼。最大的特色就是可以透過PCI Express Card來擴充HSDPA或其他連網的能力。介面上掛了個MITAC的Logo，操作起來比M528順暢很多很多，本來還挺期待的...

We've seen all kinds of MIDs at Computex this year already, so this MID doesn't really amuse us. The most interesting feature about MID-150 is probably an expansion port for PCI express Card. It runs a lot smoother than M528, but they both runs on MID Firefox browser. What? You know this already? Uh, sorry I'm slow...

今天路過 Hitachi 展場的時候，在邊邊看到了一個怪怪的東西，好像...是 MID！

不過這嚴格來說，應該不能算是 Hitachi 自家的產品，而是由子公司 Clarion 所研發，這家過去最出名的其實是車用設備，不過在被 Hitachi 買下後，似乎也開始為他們來設計些更有趣的產品。這款 MID MiND，採用解析度在 WVGA（800 X 480）的 4.8 吋 LCD 觸控螢幕，可透過 WiFi 上網，至於 3G 甚至是 WiMax 的支援，據說將來會有。

支援藍牙、GPS 導航，另有一枚畫素未明的相機；功能方面，除了上網、GPS 定位之外，還可以收發電子郵件，作為 PMP（詳細支援格式不知，但據說可播放 Flash 影片）、照片瀏覽使用等諸多功能，DM 上面還說拿來當手持電話（家用）用。

不過當場展示的還是原型產品，所以有蠻多功能都還不能用，希望將來推出的時候，可以跟比現在看到的更順暢囉！（據說是年底左右會推出，不過應該是先在歐美市場上市...）

[Hands on with Hitachi/Clarion MID MiND]

Clarion used to be a giant in making in-car AV equipment. Although they are now owned by Hitachi, that doesn't stop their creative juices from flowing. This MID called MiND is their latest creation. MiND features a 4.8" LCD touch screen with WVGA (800X480), supports GPS and BT, and it even has a camera (pixel unknown) built-in. We were told that 3G and WiMAX might be added later.

MiND also does everything that an ordinary PMP can do (may support Flash playback). On top of that, it can also be used as a household phone. However, the prototype at Computex only has limited functions. It might appear on the North American or European market near the end of this eyar.

M528這款MID大家之前已經看過了，不過今天小弟再跑去看時，展場悄悄的多出了一台M700。這台使用VIA C7-M的UMPC擁有1024x600的觸控螢幕，跑的是Vista Home Premium，並支援3.5G和WiMax。不過在問時PM小姐一直強調這台機器的規格還在修改中（不是很早就公布了@@），並表示在上市時應該也可以跑XP和Linux。由於基本上操作就是一台一般的Vista UMPC的感覺，所以就沒錄影什麼的了。比較有趣的是內建的軟體鍵盤，雖然沒辦法把機器拿出來試按，不過大小應該是符合手掌大小沒錯（跳轉有照片 ），另外M700所搭配的底座並沒有出現在會場，看來技嘉是先把主力放在M528上了。至於上市時間應該是八月多。

<Computex: Gigabyte M700>
This UMPC runs on VIA C7-M CPU with Windows Vista Home Premium. The display resolution is 1024x600. Supports 3.5G and WiMAX. Expected to be available sometime in August this year with support for XP and Linux. Other interesting feature include on screen virtual keyboard, as demonstrated in photo below.

這次技嘉除了是把焦點鎖定在 M912 這台輕省筆電身上之外，展場當中其實還有一些大家也很關注的產品，而小編有幸玩到的，則是這台 MID M528。

作業系統不用說，當然不可能是啥大家太熟悉的東西；實際請他們操作的時候，除了開機會出現一個飄來飄去的不能玩的打磚塊小遊戲之外，主要是透過一個叫做旋轉木馬的介面（Merry-Go-Around iCON interface）來操作；總之，一切都在跳轉後影片、圖片當中，請各位慢慢收看囉！（在場的 PM 大哥，辛苦了！）

Although Gigatye's focus is on the M912 ultra-portable notebook, they have a lot more to offer. The MID M528, for example, is another hot mobile device.

The OS on the MID M528 is something called the "Merry-Go-Around icon interface." It's hard to explain how it works, so check out the videos and pictures to see for yourself.
