Computex 2009：遺補 - 華碩說他們以後的辦公室是這樣

Computex 真的是一個無敵大寶庫，新聞怎麼挖都挖不完，在華碩的展示攤位中有一組叫做「Seamless Experience（無接縫體驗）」的展示桌中，把一些華碩的產品（包括進軍庶民生活的華碩咖啡）作成類似微軟 Surface 的互動介面（軟體系統不明確，但確實非常像 Surface）。

由 NewGadgets.de 提供的影片看來，華碩的員工使用這個「互動會議桌」時，只消把隨身硬碟放上去，檔案資料滿上秀出來，咖啡不夠旋轉一下角度想加熱到幾度都沒問題，要分享手機上的行事曆和聯絡人只消放上桌面上馬上秀出來...

當然這些應用絕對不是什麼新梗，在2008年 CES 微軟的攤位上我和小薑就被震撼過了，當時我們就在思考，如果以微軟作業系統王者在「商業應用」上強勢推廣成功後，已經默默耕耘的 Surface 軟體廠商應該就是最佳得利的公司，現在又經過一年半載，我們看見的還是像華碩這樣的硬體廠商作主導，期待在類似這樣的餐廳/賭場/1001辦公室推出之前，有更棒的 Surface 應用軟體配套現世，跳轉看展示影片：

Computex 2009：Toplay 聽不累耳掛式耳機

要找真正有趣的創意產品，真的不要錯過世貿一館二樓的展場。去年 Computex 我們在就在一館二樓找到聖基創意（TOPlay）的聽不累耳機，耳掛式部份也終於開始量產。

更令人高興的是這款耳機得到 Computex BEST CHOICE 最佳25個產品，過去在 Computex BEST CHOICE 中幾乎都是宏碁和華碩這種大型廠商準時拿獎的大拜拜，有這樣小廠商的突破就覺的小的廠商也能透過大創意提昇能見度。

這款運動用的耳掛式耳機親自帶起來算是相當舒適，完全沒有重的感覺，聽聲音的感覺好像在耳邊掛了二個小喇叭一樣，非常適合騎車或運動這種想要聽聲音卻又不能忽略外在環境使用。該款耳機在台灣地區也會販售，要價約在新台幣700元左右。

<Computex 2009: TOPlay OCS (Open Guided Sound) Earphone Revisited>
For those who are interested in finding creative items in Computex, the showground in the second floor of the World Trade Center Convention Hall One is a spot not to be missed. In last year's Computex, we found the TOPlay OCS earphone here. This year we drop by for a revisit.
We are glad to learn that the ear hood model of the OCS earphone has been put into mass production, and received the Computex BEST CHOICE's Top 25 Best Products award. In the past, the Computex BEST CHOICE was a routine that awards the exclusive club of major manufacturers like ACER and ASUS. It is a comfort to know that small manufacturer with big ideas still has the chance to receive the public exposure they deserved.
This ear hook model is very comfortable to wear and the audio is like having two small speakers around the ears, very suitable for cyclist, motorbike rider or outdoor sportsperson who would like to listen to music whilst paying attention to noises from surrounding environment. This earphone is available in the market, retail price in Taiwan, is around NT$700.

Computex 2009：xXtraLab 帶來的關鍵報告多重觸控技術

在癮科技上看到各式像「關鍵報告」電影一般的多重觸控技術文章已經多到不剩枚舉了，身在世貿三館的我們也對一個又一個的多重觸控面板感到迷惘，多了，也沒那麼稀奇了。幸好由 xXtraLab 展示的互動概念更加生動，也讓我們更貼近「關鍵報告」的世界裡。

上面多重觸控展示影片，除了一般我們已經常見到的拖拉和縮放技術以外，xXtraLab 團隊這次還打造了和電影「關鍵報告」類似的操作方式，使用者把雙指貼上，作順逆時針的選轉，各式照片/影片的縮圖就這樣被你旋轉出來。感覺驚奇嗎？Computex 展期間可以前往三館影來登的攤位，就有上述的裝置展示。

沒時間參加 Computex 的朋友也沒關係，可以抽空到台北捷運萬隆站附近，有一棟 Living 3.0 的建築物（可說是比爾蓋茲的家台灣版）展現各種科技技術在住家中的實踐方式，大家可以前往預約參觀，跳轉看 xXtraLab 在 Living 3.0 建築物展示的互動簡報牆影片：

We've written lots of articles on multi-touch technologies. Here at Computex 2009, xXtraLab shows off their more interactive approach, and brings us closer to the world portrayed in the movie Minority Report.

This video clip shows a new way to control objects. You can now not only drag and zoom in and out on an object, but also rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise when browsing. Feeling amused? Step in the exhibition hall to find out!

If you cannot make it to Computex this year, don't worry. There is a building called Living 3.0 located near the Wan-Long station of Taipei subway. It's basically a Taiwanese version of Bill Gates' home. It is fully decked out with all sorts of technological applications for home.

Computex 2009：Intel MID 之夢不死 -- Moorestown 產品搶鮮看

Moorestown 是啥？Moorestown 就是下一代的 Atom CPU，據 Intel 的說法，消耗的電力只有第一代 Atom Z 的 50 分之一。現場 Intel 展出了英業達、仁寶、廣達、EB 等廠的 Moorestown 參考機器，老實說和第一代的 MID 感覺差不多，只是外型做得更薄而已。在 ARM 架構的 Smartphone（Snapdragon、Tegra）和 Netbook 之間，真的有 4"、5" 大小的行動上網裝置存在的空間嗎？你會帶著一台這種說大不大，說小不小的上網裝置在路上晃嗎？

What is Moorestown? Oh, it is the next generation of Atom CPU, which consumes only half of the energy as the Atom Z, according to Intel. Intel has an array of Inventec, Compal and EB's model computers running on Mooretown; however, to tell the truth, they do not seem so much different from the MIDs we have now, just thinner. Between the smartphones (Snapdragon, Tegra) and netbooks, do we really need other 4" or 5" MIDs? Wouldn't it be awkward to carry around?

Computex 2009：Pioneer 3D 影像互動感應裝置 Touch Me!!!

可惜碰到的只是空氣...

這個技術會讓使用者覺得上圖這個小精靈漂浮在空中，然後你只要碰小精靈一下，馬上就會換脫衣服給你看。感應部份的技術其實不難，類似擴增實境的概念，當感應攝影機發現有東西時，就送指令到電腦上，以改變顯示圖案。

Yet all we can touch is air...
This technology makes the user feels like Tinkerbell is floating in the air. As soon as you couch her, she'll start, uhm, undressing. The sensor technology is actually quite impressive and it's similar to the idea of augmented reality. When the camera captures motion, a signal will be sent back to the computer, and the display will change accordingly. Check out our video clip after the break.

Computex 2009：宏碁 F1 Snapdragon 手機影片

宏碁的 F1 是我們看到的第二台 Snapdragon 手機（第一隻是 Toshiba 的 TG01）。這隻強悍的 Smartphone 跑的是 WinMo 6.5，而 1 GHz 的處理器跑起來是一整個流暢，差不多有 iPhone 的流暢度了。其他規格有 3.8" 的螢幕、5mp 相機、HSDPA / 藍牙 / WiFi / GPS / FM 等多種不同的無線能力。上市時間在 Q4，價格不詳，但高階手機 20000 台幣跑不掉吧...

<Computex 2009: Acer F1 Snapdragon Video>

Acer's F1 is the second Sanpdragon mobile we have seem (first one is Toshiba TG01). This high-performance Smartphone with 1GHz CPU runs Windows Mobile 6.5 smoothly, almost as smooth as iPhone. Other details on its specifications include 3.8" screen, 5 mega-pixel camera, HSDPA, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, FM and etc. Scheduled to be released around Q4 with price unknown; however we would imagine it to be from NT$20,000 upwards.

Computex 2009：義隆電子發表的 SmartPad 多媒體遙控器

義隆電子的透明觸控式面板成為今年 Computex 2009 「Best Choice of the Year」最大賞，當然是看好為來3吋以上觸控式裝置將是未來消費性電子產品的新主流。除此之外義隆電也開發了一台多媒體遙控器，外型就是我們已經遺忘許久專為 Windows Media Center 設計的多媒體遙控器，但魔鬼的地方在於遙控器後背。

這款名為 SmartPad 的多媒體遙控器，神奇的地方在於後面是兩塊觸控螢幕，你可以把它當作無線觸控版使用，然後也可以把兩塊觸控版作合體技執行多重觸控功能，像我們熟悉圖片拖拉放大縮小的功能全都有。

不僅如此，SmartPad 觸控版部份還可以當作電視遙控器使用，電視上會有一個虛擬按鍵可以讓你按下直接選台。最後的殺手應用大家也應該想到了，兩塊觸控板用來打電動就對啦！

我們已經迫不及待跑去義隆電的攤位逛逛了～跳轉看精彩的 SmartPad 展示影片，不看可惜！

<Computex 2009: SmartPad MultiMedia Remote Controller from ELAN Microelectronics>
ELAN Microelectronics' transparent touch panel have received this year's Computex 2009 "Best Choice of the Year' award. Obviously it's a move to cut into the new 3" and above touch-based devices market, which is becoming the new mainstream product for future consumer electronics. Apart from the touch screen panel, ELAN also developed a multimedia remote. At first glance, it resembles the long-forgotten multimedia remote for Windows Media Center; however, the magical part of it is on the back of this remote.

This SmartPad multimedia remote controller has two touch pads on the back. It can be used as one wireless touchpad or the two touch pands can be combined for multi-touch applications, including the all familiar feature like photo zoom-in and out with simple drag-and-drop action

The touch-panel can also be doubles as television remote. On the television screen, there would be virtual keys for changing the channels. Finally, the killer application for these two touchpad would be - as one would guessed - for playing games!

Computex 2009：Mobinnova élan 動手玩

Mobinnova élan 應該算是 Tegra 家族的 Netbook 中，最完善的一台了。elan 重不及一公斤，但跑起 720p 的影片一點問題也沒有，而且持續播電影可以撐三部以上（至少七個小時）、一般使用至少 10 小時。到底 Tegra 跑起影片來如何？看繼續閱讀裡的影片吧！

Computex 2009：華碩 Eee Keyboard 動手玩（更新：影片放上來囉）

從 CES 一路等到現在，小薑終於玩到 Eee Keyboard 了。一言以蔽之，強！

鍵盤旁邊的的螢幕解析度是 800x480，但它並不是原本想像中那樣，是個像 Sideshow 的獨立作業系統，而是跑 Windows XP 的 -- 準確的說，旁邊這個小螢幕，才是 Eee Keyboard 的主螢幕，接到電腦螢幕或電視上的，才是 Eee Keyboard 的次螢幕。因此（雖然沒必要），滑鼠理論上是可以從操作 Eee Keyboard 小螢幕上的東西的。

Eee Keyboard 的觸控軟體是寫在 WinXP 裡的一個程式（像 EeeTop 那樣），裡頭大部份是電腦裡面的軟體的捷徑，但也有 MSN、Skype、音樂播放器等華碩專門為了 Eee Keyboard 寫的播放程式。因為所有的東西都在同一個作業系統下，用 Eee Keyboard 的小螢幕操作外接大螢幕上的東西出乎意料之外的順暢。

Eee Keyboard 有兩個版本 -- 有線版，和走 UWB 的無線版。有線版當然就是要坐在電腦前面才能用，而無線版則是透過 UWB 和一個小接收器連線，鍵盤本身內建一顆電池，讓你可以帶著鍵盤四處走。Eee Keyboard 充一次電大約可以用兩小時，溫度大約和普通的 Eee PC 相當。

目前仍然沒有上市日期或價格，不過看起來 Eee Keyboard 真的很適合當做為 MPC 來用呢！

Computex 2009：ARM 執行長談 ARM 的未來

簡單來說，就是從 Smartphone 延伸到 Netbook 啦！ARM 執行長 Warren East 認為，目前的筆電效能發展已經超出了大半使用者需求的程度，因此本來效能就和 Netbook 處理器相當，而且省電得多的 ARM，就有很大的優勢。從 Smartphone 往上，ARM 提出了 Smartbook 的概念，基本上就是一台大螢幕，有標準鍵盤，而且隨時都是連線上網的筆電。做為處理器設計商的 ARM 並無法預測最終產品會是怎麼樣的走向，但顯然 ARM 很看好 Netbook 市場。

只是 Atom/x86 架構已經先走了一年了，ARM 陣營能拿什麼出來和 Intel 拼？看來要等明天開始逛場地了才能知道囉！繼續閱讀裡有 ARM 的未來幻想影片。

<Computex 2009: ARM CEO talks about the future of ARM>
In short, extend from smartphone to netbook. Warren East, CEO of ARM Holding, believes current notebooks' performance outperformed most users' performance need, therefore ARM processors, with lower energy consumption and perform on-par with netbook processors, stands in an advantageous position. From smartphone to the next level up, ARM brings forward the concept of a 'smartbook', which is essentially an always online notebook with large screen and standard keyboard. As a processor designer firm, ARM may not be able to predict how the trend will flow in terms of final (consumer) product, however, it is obvious that ARM believes in future netbook market.

With Atom/x86 architecture stands a year ahead, one would be curious about what ARM camp have in store to compete with Intel. A field investigation tomorrow may provide the answer, stay tuned. Meanwhile, click below for ARM's vision of the future.
