Computex 2009：Phoenix展示多項BIOS技術

在這次Computex 2009，Phoenix（鳳凰科技）提出了一個名為 "PC 3.0" 新口號，主要由4個概念所構成：Instant On/Off（快速開關機）、Always Connected（永遠連線）、All-day Computing（終日運算）與Secure。PC 3.0的概念主要以BIOS來出發，讓產品（如筆電或輕省筆電）可以像智慧型手機般隨開即用，而且希望能讓電池續航力大幅提昇，剛好與Qualcomm的SnapDragon概念（請點我）不謀而合。

另外，Phoenix也展出了具體的解決方案，主要有5種：HyperSpace、Freeze、FailSafe、eSupport與SecureCore...

<Computex 2009: Pheonix brings new BIOS technologies>
At Computex 2009, Phoenix corp. brought up a new idea called "PC 3.0." It consists of four sub aims: Instant On/Off, Always Connected, All-day computing and Secure. The PC 3.0 idea stems from BIOS, and it allows mobile devices such as laptops and netbooks can be used just like your cell phones. Also, it aims at improving battery life. This is consistent with the Snap Dragon concept by Qualcomm. In addition, Phoenix has provided concrete solutions. They are HyperSpace, Freeze, FailSafe, eSupport and SecureCore.

Computex 2009：長得有點大的即時通小玩具

上面那個看起來有點可怕的東西，其實是台即時通小玩具的原型 iToy，不過開發公司瑞駿科技的專精不是在玩具的外觀上面，而是一系列跟 VoIP 有關的產品應用。

跟一些類似跟即時通軟體結合的硬體差不多，iToy 可以針對即時通的的各種活動來反應（目前測試的主要是以 Skype 為主），好比說收到 Skype 電話，他就可以發出提示音，收到表情符號、特殊關鍵字也會有有趣的反應，而且背後的軟體設定方面，也提供給使用者很大的設定彈性，例如自建關鍵字，加入對應的音樂 / 動作等。

<Computex 2009: Im Toy>

Don't be horrified. It's just a prototype of an IM toy, iToy. And don't be critical about the appearance, either, for Regin Tech is not specialized in designing toys, but in product applications related to VoIP.

The iToy is similar to those hardwares combined with IM softwares and responds to all kinds of actions going on in the messenger (it is now tested primarily with Skype). It will play sounds at incoming Skype calls and show funny reactions for specific expressions or key words. It also offers a huge flexibility on user-defined software settings, such as adding key words and corresponding sounds / movements, etc.

Computex 2009：Art Studios 帶著 EFI-X V2.0 來造訪！

話說有玩過 Mac OS X on PC 的朋友，對於怎樣用 EFI 模擬器來騙 Mac OS X，應該是相當了解，不過對於其他市井小民來說，想在 PC 上面玩 Mac OS，可就不是啥容易的事情；而 Art Studios 家的 EFI-X 這顆 USB BPU（啟動處理單元），則可以讓使用者輕鬆達成夢想。

不過老實說，這東西出現也是好一段時日了，這回在展場上則是主打 EFI-X V2.0 這塊 USB BPU（跳轉後有放大圖）；最讓小編驚訝的，並不是上面剛剛所提的那段簡單介紹，而是他居然可以大剌剌的在展場上拿非水果家版卡展示跑 Mac OS X 10.5 的威能，這...好像有點踩到水果公司的線呀！當然，EFI-X 可以做的事情也不只是這樣，可以模擬的 EFI 也不只有水果家的，只不過放個 Mac OS X 的畫面比較吸引人吧？

If you've tried running Mac OS X on a PC, you are probably quite familiar with using an EFI emulator to cheat OS X. However, for those of us that are less skilled, it's probably not a piece of cake. Art Studios has come up with an excellent solution. Their EFI-X USB BPU will make the task much easier.

Similar devices have already been on the market. What surprises us the most is that they are showing this USB BPU running OS X in broad daylight. Apple must not be pleased. There are lots of other things that the EFI-X can do, but showing off its ability to run OS X is surely attractive.

Computex 2009：使用AMD平台的大小筆電，包含ACER ZA8

AMD今天在Comutex 2009發表新產品，Annti太早到，不小心拍到一些東西後，就廠商被趕出來，其中比較值得注意的就是Acer型號為ZA8的筆電，CPU為 Athlon L110，時脈為1.2GHz，GPU為ATi Radeon X1270，解析度為1366 × 768，也有3G連線。Annti之前沒看過這一部，而且是貼著Gateway的品牌，不過記者會還沒開始，待會就知道詳情了。

這次還有展出明基的Joybook Lite T131（請點我），這部大陸已經發表，台灣還是沒消沒息，現場也有HP Pavilion dv2與Medion Akoya Mini E1311，除了Acer ZA8之外，這幾部都是AMD Yukon平台（Sempron 210U + ATi Radeon HD 3200）。

<Computex 2009: Laptops that use the AMD platform, including the Acer ZA8>

Today at Computex 2009, AMD is annoucing their new product lineup. Our journalist Annti got there too early, and got kicked out after snapping a few spy shots. What catches our attention is the Acer ZA8, which has the Athlon L110 CPU at 1.2GHz, an ATI Radeon X1270 GPU, a screen with 1366X768 resolution and 3G connectivity. This is actually the first time we see the ZA8, and here it is rebranded to Gateway. We will bring you more coverage once the press conference is over.

Also at the scene is the Joybook Lite T131 by Benq, which was announced in mainland China but not yet in Taiwan. Other AMD Yukon laptops include the HP Pavilion dv2 and Medion Akoya Mini E1311, and all of these machines have Sempron 210U and ATI Radeon HD3200.

Computex 2009：精英（ECS）T30IL

還記得那台義大利製的偽．MBA 嗎？其實就是精英（ECS）家的 T30IL 的兄弟姊妹，這次也在 Computex 的某個角落出現。

規格部份，基本上應該是要看到時候各家貼牌廠商的要求，現場的 T30IL 則是採用 Intel Core 2 Duo 處理器（SL9300，時脈 1.6GHz、FSB 1066MHz）記憶體為 800MHz DDR2（不過只有一個插槽），最大可以擴充到 4GB，顯示晶片為 Intel 的 945GSE（支援 DX 10）；螢幕為 13.3 吋、解析度 1280 x 800，硬碟則為 1.8 吋的 HDD（這...）或 SSD；支援 802.11a/b/g/n，電池 3-cell 或 6-cell，重量 1.5 公斤，作業系統為 Vista Home premium。

另外螢幕還有兩個額外的功能，一個是依感應光源調整螢幕亮度，另一個則是可以畫面可隨螢幕直立而自動翻轉，不過似乎只能在某些圖片瀏覽軟體上面使用，現場的展示機沒安裝的樣子；其他各角度圖片，請在跳轉後參考。

<Computex 2009: ECS T30IL Hands on>

Remember the Italian-made MBA-like notebook? It is actually of the same series as the T30IL and also appears somewhere in the Computex this year.
The specifications are yet to be determined by each company making the parts. This one here has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (SL9300, 1.6GHz, FSB 1066 MHz), an 800MHz DDR2 RAM (only one slot though) max 4GB, and an Intel graphics card 945GSE (supports DX10). The screen is 13.3" with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and it uses1.8" HDD (well...) or SSD. It also supports 802.11a/b/g/n and comes with either a 3-cell or 6-cell battery, weighs 1.5 Kg and is pre-installed with Vista Home premium.

Two additional functions for the screen: auto-adjust LCD which automatically senses and adapts to the light source, and a rotatable screen which seems only to work with some photo viewer softwares that are not installed on the sample notebook. Click on for more pictures.

Computex 2009：Mio的12吋筆電，跑AMD Congo架構

Mio除了推Intel Atom的輕省筆電（Netbook），另外還有推一部12吋的版本，型號為N1210，最大的特點就是使用AMD為輕省筆電所推出的最新平台 - Congo，Annti先將規格與特色條列如下：

1.CPU為AMD Athlon Neo MV-40，時脈~~1.4~~ 1.6 GHz，TDP 15W
2.晶片組為RS780M + SB710
3.可順暢播放1080p品質影片
4.解析度為1266 × 768
5.內建3.5G模組
6.重量為1.3公斤、厚度為2.5公分
7.預載Windows 7 Home Premium版
8.上蓋為皮革漆包覆，底部有特別設計過（看起來好像超大台的鑽石機XD）

N1210與N890一樣，預計今年第3季上市，而平台會有AMD Yukon或Congo兩種，因為內建3.5G模組，也會與電信商合作。另外，從上市時間與預載Windows 7來猜測，看來微軟的Windows 7就是在今年第3季正式上市吧

Apart from Intel Atom based netbook, Mio also revealed their N1210, a 12" netbook based on AMD's new platform for netbook, Congo. The specification and special features are as following:
1. CPU: AMD Athlon Neo MV-40, clock speed at 1.4GHz, 15W TDP
2. Chipset: RS780M + SB710
3. Capable of playback 1080p videos smoothly
4. Screen resolution: 1266x768
5. Built-in 3.5G module
6. Weight 1.3kg, thickness 2.5cm
7. Preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium edition
8. Top with suede-like finish and specially designed base part (looks like a blow-up version of Touch Diamond)

Same as N890, N1210 is scheduled to be released in third quarter of this year in AMD Yukon and Congo platform.

這次微軟攤位主打的一大主題就是Windows 7，現場放了一堆已經安裝Windows 7的筆電（RC build 7100），從商用導向的輕省筆電Acer Aspire One Pro到Sharp的都有。

其中比較特別的是Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70Apro，內建觸控板螢幕，同樣也支援Windows 7。跳轉之後可看Sharp Mebius PC-NJ70Apro與規格，圖集可看其他筆電。

相信大家都看過了小薑哥所寫的「Snapdragon Netbook 搶鮮看」（請點我），也知道SnapDragon是Qualcomm所推出的新平台，不過，嚴格來說算新概念才是，這次找了利樂包妹來主持記者會，也算與SnapDragon互相呼應的說。

SnapDragon硬翻成中文為「威猛的咬咬龍」，聽起來挺威的，到底SnapDragon是啥？跳轉後相信會有一些概念
