這到底是手機還是MID呢？答案都是，而且跑得是WIndows XP，型號為 "DigiCube MIDPhone-50" ，使用的是Intel Menlow平台（CPU為Intel Atom Z510 / Z530與Intel US15W晶片組），重量為620克，待機4小時。

不過這家名為 "Digicube" 的台灣廠商，主要是在作ODM，MIDPhone-50主要是展示用的，並沒有在市面上販賣。

Is this a phone or a MID? Well the answer is both, and it runs Windows XP. It's called the "DigiCube MIDPhone-50." It uses Intel Menlow (CPU is ATM Z510/ Z530 on Intel US15W chipset), weighs 620 grams and lasts for 4 hrs.
Digicube is an ODM Taiwanese company, so the MIDPhone-50 is just for show and won't be in production.

這支名為 "筆電鋒" （xpPhone）的玩意兒，具有上述所提的功能，感覺起來挺威的，不過，說穿了，就是一支跑Windows XP外加3G模組的MID，其中比較特別的地方在於CPU不是用MID御用的Intel Menlow，而是AMD的Solution（應該是AMD Geode），而且支援3種3G協定 - WCDMA、EVDO與TD-SCDMA。

只是，這麼強的功能換來的是400g重量與磚塊大小的體積，讓Annti想到之前HTC所推出的類似產品的說...

The "xpPhone" is claimed to support the global 3G network, can run Windows XP and can be used just like a laptop. It really sounds like the ultimate phone to have, doesn't it? Well actually, it's basically a MID that runs Windows XP plus a built-in 3G module. The interesting thing is that it's CPU isn't the more common Intel Menlow. Instead, it's AMD Solution (Geode). Also, it supports 3 types of 3G protocols- WCDMA, EVDO and TD-SCDMA. It all sounds like a dream. However, it weighs 400g and has a size of a brick. This reminds us of some similar products from HTC

Computex 2009：Intel MID 之夢不死 -- Moorestown 產品搶鮮看

Moorestown 是啥？Moorestown 就是下一代的 Atom CPU，據 Intel 的說法，消耗的電力只有第一代 Atom Z 的 50 分之一。現場 Intel 展出了英業達、仁寶、廣達、EB 等廠的 Moorestown 參考機器，老實說和第一代的 MID 感覺差不多，只是外型做得更薄而已。在 ARM 架構的 Smartphone（Snapdragon、Tegra）和 Netbook 之間，真的有 4"、5" 大小的行動上網裝置存在的空間嗎？你會帶著一台這種說大不大，說小不小的上網裝置在路上晃嗎？

What is Moorestown? Oh, it is the next generation of Atom CPU, which consumes only half of the energy as the Atom Z, according to Intel. Intel has an array of Inventec, Compal and EB's model computers running on Mooretown; however, to tell the truth, they do not seem so much different from the MIDs we have now, just thinner. Between the smartphones (Snapdragon, Tegra) and netbooks, do we really need other 4" or 5" MIDs? Wouldn't it be awkward to carry around?
