Computex 2009：Phoenix展示多項BIOS技術

在這次Computex 2009，Phoenix（鳳凰科技）提出了一個名為 "PC 3.0" 新口號，主要由4個概念所構成：Instant On/Off（快速開關機）、Always Connected（永遠連線）、All-day Computing（終日運算）與Secure。PC 3.0的概念主要以BIOS來出發，讓產品（如筆電或輕省筆電）可以像智慧型手機般隨開即用，而且希望能讓電池續航力大幅提昇，剛好與Qualcomm的SnapDragon概念（請點我）不謀而合。

另外，Phoenix也展出了具體的解決方案，主要有5種：HyperSpace、Freeze、FailSafe、eSupport與SecureCore...

<Computex 2009: Pheonix brings new BIOS technologies>
At Computex 2009, Phoenix corp. brought up a new idea called "PC 3.0." It consists of four sub aims: Instant On/Off, Always Connected, All-day computing and Secure. The PC 3.0 idea stems from BIOS, and it allows mobile devices such as laptops and netbooks can be used just like your cell phones. Also, it aims at improving battery life. This is consistent with the Snap Dragon concept by Qualcomm. In addition, Phoenix has provided concrete solutions. They are HyperSpace, Freeze, FailSafe, eSupport and SecureCore.

Computex 2009：長得有點大的即時通小玩具

上面那個看起來有點可怕的東西，其實是台即時通小玩具的原型 iToy，不過開發公司瑞駿科技的專精不是在玩具的外觀上面，而是一系列跟 VoIP 有關的產品應用。

跟一些類似跟即時通軟體結合的硬體差不多，iToy 可以針對即時通的的各種活動來反應（目前測試的主要是以 Skype 為主），好比說收到 Skype 電話，他就可以發出提示音，收到表情符號、特殊關鍵字也會有有趣的反應，而且背後的軟體設定方面，也提供給使用者很大的設定彈性，例如自建關鍵字，加入對應的音樂 / 動作等。

<Computex 2009: Im Toy>

Don't be horrified. It's just a prototype of an IM toy, iToy. And don't be critical about the appearance, either, for Regin Tech is not specialized in designing toys, but in product applications related to VoIP.

The iToy is similar to those hardwares combined with IM softwares and responds to all kinds of actions going on in the messenger (it is now tested primarily with Skype). It will play sounds at incoming Skype calls and show funny reactions for specific expressions or key words. It also offers a huge flexibility on user-defined software settings, such as adding key words and corresponding sounds / movements, etc.

Computex 2009：Art Studios 帶著 EFI-X V2.0 來造訪！

話說有玩過 Mac OS X on PC 的朋友，對於怎樣用 EFI 模擬器來騙 Mac OS X，應該是相當了解，不過對於其他市井小民來說，想在 PC 上面玩 Mac OS，可就不是啥容易的事情；而 Art Studios 家的 EFI-X 這顆 USB BPU（啟動處理單元），則可以讓使用者輕鬆達成夢想。

不過老實說，這東西出現也是好一段時日了，這回在展場上則是主打 EFI-X V2.0 這塊 USB BPU（跳轉後有放大圖）；最讓小編驚訝的，並不是上面剛剛所提的那段簡單介紹，而是他居然可以大剌剌的在展場上拿非水果家版卡展示跑 Mac OS X 10.5 的威能，這...好像有點踩到水果公司的線呀！當然，EFI-X 可以做的事情也不只是這樣，可以模擬的 EFI 也不只有水果家的，只不過放個 Mac OS X 的畫面比較吸引人吧？

If you've tried running Mac OS X on a PC, you are probably quite familiar with using an EFI emulator to cheat OS X. However, for those of us that are less skilled, it's probably not a piece of cake. Art Studios has come up with an excellent solution. Their EFI-X USB BPU will make the task much easier.

Similar devices have already been on the market. What surprises us the most is that they are showing this USB BPU running OS X in broad daylight. Apple must not be pleased. There are lots of other things that the EFI-X can do, but showing off its ability to run OS X is surely attractive.

Computex 2009：光華商場的一體成形電腦 - Omnia iPC S20 AiO

說 iPC S20 外型多時尚和家裡高檔裝潢多配這件事我是絕對不相信的，但 iPC 可以拆開後背然後換硬碟、記憶體這些元件換到爽就有光華牌的硬體精神了。別說一體成形電腦帶給大家方便不需要考慮元件更換這些事情，但你去光華看看就是有人買 AiO 的時候絕對會問「能不能換硬碟呢？」這樣的問題。

會在何處看到 iPC S20，套句 Computex 所有展售廠商的標準說法：「全世界哪裡有訂單哪裡就看的到這台電腦。」所以哪天在中東地區看到上面這台造型特別的一體成形電腦，可不要少見多怪。iPC S20 搭載20吋 1680x1050 解析度螢幕、處理器最高達 Intel i7 四核心、7200rpm 2.5吋硬碟、光碟機最高可裝藍光（都是非常彈性的硬體規格）。

Computex 2009：SilverPAC 家的『進階版』數位相框動手玩！

SilverPAC 家的『進階版』數位相框（Advanced Digital Photo Frame）今天在展場上正式亮相，進化的部份，是說他採用 Windows CE（6.0 R2）作業系統，另外加入了 Windows SideShow、Live FrameIt 等功能；在 SideShow 的 Gadgets 部份，目前有 WMP、天氣播報、PowerPoint 播放、行事曆、Email、Twitter 等可以選擇，SilverPAC 將來會加入更多的 Gadgets；Live FrameIt 則可以讓使用者連接到 Live.com 收看上頭的檔案資料（圖集、ppt 等）。

硬體部份，螢幕為 10.1 吋、解析度 1024 x 576，CPU 為 Freescale i.MX27，記憶體 512MB，內建 1GB 的儲存空間（要塞 Windows CE 跟一些 Gadgets）；上網部份，支援 WiFi 802.11n，資料傳輸可以走藍牙（BT 2.0）以及 USB，另外可以讀取 SD、MS（MS、MS Pro）、MMC、CF 以及 MD。

檔案支援則包括 JPEG、TIF、GIF、BMP；MPEG-1、MPEG-4、WMV、H.264；MP3、WMA、AAC；背後還有一組輸出功率 2 x 1.5 瓦的小喇叭；跳轉後有多張各角度照片以及簡單的使用介面介紹。

<Computex 2009: Hands-on SliverPAC's Advanced Digital Photo Frame>

SilverPAC reveals their "advanced" digital photo frame. The advancement part refers to the use of Windows CE(6.0 2) OS, and the additions of Windows SideShow, Live FrameIt and etc. The SideShow Gadgets available at the moment are WMP, weather report, PowerPoint replay, to-do calendar, email, and Twitter, with more to be added in the future. The Live FrameIt feature allows user to connect to Live.com for photo galleries, ppt and etc.

Hardware-wise, screen size is 10.1", 1024 x 576 screen resolution, Freescale i.MX27 CPU, 512MB memory and 1G storage space (for storing Windows CE and Gadgets). Network-wise, it supports WiFi 802.11n. Data transfer via Bluetooth (BT2.0) and USB, also reads SD, MS(MS / MS Pro), MMC, CF and MD.

File support includes JPEG, TIF, GIF, BMP for images, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, WMV, H.264 for video and MP3, WMA, AAC for audio. A set of 2x1.5 watts speaker is included on the back. Scroll down for more photos and simple introduction of the user interface.

Computex 2009：AMD發表Phenom II X2 550黑盒與Athlon II X2 250處理器（補圖集）

AMD在Computex 2009除了發表筆電平台外，還有發表兩顆桌上型的CPU，Phenom II X2 550黑盒版與Athlon II X2 250，其中Phenom II X2 550黑盒版是第一個Phenom雙核心的CPU，然後都是隸屬在AMD Dragon之下，印象中，有一顆CPU已經被人成功開成4核心，不知道是哪一顆的說？

這兩顆CPU的定價，Phenom II X2 550為102美元，而Athlon II X2 250則是訂在87美元，補足Phenom II 與Athlon之間的價格帶。

這次的重點還是在Dragon桌上型平台上，CPU方面從雙核、3核到4核，GPU則是宣佈正式完整支援DX 11。在企業端方面，主打的重點有幾：虛擬化、低耗能與新的6核Opteron，虛擬化方面是基於名為 "AMD-V" 的技術，低耗能則是加入了名為 "AMD-P" 的功能（由Smart Fetch、Power Cap與CoolCore等3技術合稱），新6核的Opteron強調每瓦耗電上的效能較以往增加了34％。

<Computex 2009: AMD Announces Phenom II X4 995 Black Edition and Athlon II X2 250 CPU>
Apart from the already announced notebook platforms, AMD also announces two CPUs for desktop, Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition and Athlon II X2 250. In particular, the Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition is the first dual-cord Phenom CPU in the AMD Dragon lineup. We recall that one of the CPUs has been re-developed into quad-cord, but we are not sure which.

The focus in this press conference is going to be on the Dragon platform for desktop, CPU-wise will start from dual-core, tri-core to quad-core, GPU-wise will fully support DirectX 11.

The press conference has not started yet, we will bring more detail forward as it comes in.

The price for Phenom II X2 55 will be $102 USD and Athlon II X2 250 at $87 USD to fill in the gap between Phenom II and Athlon.

In the press conference, several key points were mentioned for enterprise applications: virtualization, energy-saving and new sexa-core Opteron. The virtualization part is based on the "AMD-V" technology, the energy-saving part is the addition of "AMD-P" feature (a combination of three separate technologies: Smart Fetch, Power Cap and CoolCore), as for the new sexa-core Opteron, the emphasis is on 34% performance improvement per watt.

Computex 2009：拉風的法拉利輕省桌機

說實在的，Annti第一眼看到的感覺，以為是錄影帶倒帶機，結果並不是，它是一部輕省桌機，而且還有光碟機與DVI輸出，旁邊的小立牌還用手寫著歪歪 "Atom Application" ，說實在的，看到時很難不被吸引。

不過，這是一家Kimpro的電腦週邊廠商（主要是機殼）所量身打造的招牌，只有一部，非賣品。

有了這部電腦，就算是宅宅，也是可以很拉風的呦！

This reminiscence of the 80s tape rewinder is actually a NetTop with optical drive and DVI output. The scrabbling on the card next to it says 'Atom Application', this sure eye-catcher is an not-for-sale advertising gadget for computer peripheral (mainly casing) manufacturer Kimpro. Sure enough, with this, even a nerd can cruise around the net in style.

Computex 2009：精英（ECS）T30IL

還記得那台義大利製的偽．MBA 嗎？其實就是精英（ECS）家的 T30IL 的兄弟姊妹，這次也在 Computex 的某個角落出現。

規格部份，基本上應該是要看到時候各家貼牌廠商的要求，現場的 T30IL 則是採用 Intel Core 2 Duo 處理器（SL9300，時脈 1.6GHz、FSB 1066MHz）記憶體為 800MHz DDR2（不過只有一個插槽），最大可以擴充到 4GB，顯示晶片為 Intel 的 945GSE（支援 DX 10）；螢幕為 13.3 吋、解析度 1280 x 800，硬碟則為 1.8 吋的 HDD（這...）或 SSD；支援 802.11a/b/g/n，電池 3-cell 或 6-cell，重量 1.5 公斤，作業系統為 Vista Home premium。

另外螢幕還有兩個額外的功能，一個是依感應光源調整螢幕亮度，另一個則是可以畫面可隨螢幕直立而自動翻轉，不過似乎只能在某些圖片瀏覽軟體上面使用，現場的展示機沒安裝的樣子；其他各角度圖片，請在跳轉後參考。

<Computex 2009: ECS T30IL Hands on>

Remember the Italian-made MBA-like notebook? It is actually of the same series as the T30IL and also appears somewhere in the Computex this year.
The specifications are yet to be determined by each company making the parts. This one here has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (SL9300, 1.6GHz, FSB 1066 MHz), an 800MHz DDR2 RAM (only one slot though) max 4GB, and an Intel graphics card 945GSE (supports DX10). The screen is 13.3" with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and it uses1.8" HDD (well...) or SSD. It also supports 802.11a/b/g/n and comes with either a 3-cell or 6-cell battery, weighs 1.5 Kg and is pre-installed with Vista Home premium.

Two additional functions for the screen: auto-adjust LCD which automatically senses and adapts to the light source, and a rotatable screen which seems only to work with some photo viewer softwares that are not installed on the sample notebook. Click on for more pictures.
