筆者特別留下來試試Eee PC 901 / 1000 鍵盤手感，我想，在了解規格、售價的部分之後，大概也只有鍵盤的部分，可能算是個問題。

在現場筆者玩的感覺，鍵帽下壓到底時，在一開始以及最後，有較明顯的阻力，中間的感受比較空一些。因個人比較喜歡軟一些，中間有比較充實感受的鍵盤，所以對個人來說，在感受上還好。不過像以這種定位的產品來說，手感其實不要太誇張就好，更何況，也沒有像HP 2133特別加塗佈，其實就很好用了。反而是所佔比例比較重要，這次1000也是號稱漂準尺寸的92％，這樣說起來，應該是與HP 2133差不多大。不過，論配置，還是比較喜歡2133就是了。

We stayed behind after the press conference to spend more time with the Eee PC 901/1000, paying particular attention to their keyboards. We think that the smaller keyboard size is perhaps the last thing that's holding most people back from buying an ultra-portable notebook.

Our first impression was that in one key stroke, there seem to be more resistance at the beginning and the end of the stroke. I personally prefer a softer touch, but it still feels ok to me. But honestly, you can't expect this keyboard to give you the same touch as a full-sized one. Besides, the surface of the keys didn't get the same special treatments as the ones on the HP 2133. The size is more important here, and Asus does claim that the keyboard on the 1000 to be 92% full size, which is pretty much the same as the HP 2133. Nonetheless, we still prefer the HP 2133 for its better key arrangement.

顯然華碩懂得大小通吃，901與1000大小一看就有差別。原則上，若想要用手好好打，尤其是男性，就要選1000了。

此外，我們也借到了700，來跟1000做個簡單比較。

Apparently AUSU knows better to appeal to every aspect of needs. You can judge by their covers that girls would fancy Eee PC 901 while the size of Eee PC 1000 may be attractive to guys.

Please guys, do not get picky on the photos. It was a nightmare fighting for a shooting spot with so many people doing exactly the same thing. Our editor from Engadget Chinese is at the press conference right now and waiting for Asus to release more details on the new Eee PCs (drool). We managed to get there early and got a good spot. Some specs of these shiny new babes are:

1. 6-cell battery provides 7.5 hr for Eee PC 1000, 7 hr for 1000H and 7.8 hr for 901.

2. The Eee PC 1000H comes with a hard drive instead of an SSD.

3. Fully equipped with 802.11n and Bluetooth.

運氣真好，由於世貿二館的 WiMax Expo 提前開館，在所有媒體都睜大眼睛和高官巡禮的時候，我默默的先到 Acer 攤位，果然沒有小筆電。再溜到 Asus 攤位，一大堆 Atom 版本的 Eee PC 901 躺在桌上任人拍照，實際的規格如下：

The much-anticipated Computex 2008 is finally here. Luckily, before the official opening on Tuesday the third, we have the WiMax Expo section opening one day earlier, giving us a chance to take some sneak peeks before the Nangan Exhibition Hall gets crowded tomorrow (but we'll still sneak in as cleaning crews anyways). So first thing first, no ultra-portables from Acer is to be found in the WiMax Expo (implying that the rumored Aspire One might not support WiMax). Next, there are lots of Eee PC 901 equipped with Atom from Asus being displayed, with the following specs:

8.9 in screen Intel Atom CPU (clock speed unknown)
Linux/Windows XP Home (only the WinXP version is displayed）
MMC/SD(SDHC) card reader 1 GB DDR2 20GB SSD(LINUX)/12GB SSD(XP)

The models displayed are prototypically equipped with the Wimax chip. Those shown at Intel are with the WiMax Link 5150.

既然有黑色版的 EeePC 700，那出現黑色版的 901 也該在意料之內。小薑是覺得黑色是所有顏色裡最漂亮的，不過以後真的要用這個「Eee」的商標嗎 @@，感覺一整個遜耶...

還有，去年答應我們的 199 美元筆電呢？

EeePC 901（也就是 Atom 版的 EeePC 900）看來不是簡單的換個 CPU 就上了 -- 華碩特別為 EeePC 901 打造了一個和原來類似，但卻又不完全一樣的新外殼。新設計最明顯的不同就是轉軸部份的設計，和鍵盤上方多了幾顆小按鈕，另外電源插孔也從後側移到了右側。小薑看起來最有趣的變化是散熱孔比原來長得多，幾乎是原來的兩倍吧？這代表著什麼，真是耐人尋味啊...

禮拜五會有一場華碩研討會，看到時能不能看到實機的出現囉！

可惜的是，Eee PC 的處理器並不是 Intel 主推的 Atom，而是 900MHz Celeron M 處理器，和原本的 Eee PC 701 如出一轍，所以華碩在 Cebit 上面的承諾可說是黃牛了，這樣在跑 XP 會不會更辛苦些呢？不過這次是全速跑 900MHz ，而不是降到 630MHz 的速度在跑，是比較好的。

不過這也難說，因為 Atom 要六月才推出，華碩應該是要搶快所以先搭載了賽楊處理器。六月的時候應該就會推出 Atom 版本的 Eee PC 901 了。跳轉看 901 的展示影片：
