此外，廠商也特別強調耐摔、防震，筆者請請他們實際摔一摔，他們還提到，若有機會讓我們試的話，建議在摔在水泥上（不過這樣會傷到外殼吧？），不用在地毯上。此外，雖然提到也有軟體SecureLockWare加密程式，但現場也同樣沒有. 不過，為了確保機密，如果使用加密軟體，但密碼忘了，那就無解了。

We briefly mentioned this external HD before, but this is the first time we see it in person. Buffalo claims that they've used the Turbo USB technology to boost the transfer rate by 33%, but we haven't got a chance to test it yet. Hopefully we will get to it later.

In addition, Buffalo really emphasized its shock resistant design, so we asked them to demonstrate with a drop test (although we really wanted to open up the case to see what's it all about). But if we were to do the test, we would drop it on pavement instead of on carpet (evil grin). The HD-PFU2 also comes with a data encryption software called the Secure Lock Ware, which is not available for testing at the exhibit.
