Computex 2009：驚，原來戒指軌跡球是台灣廠商的作品！

我也是隨意瞄的，不過當我走到富威企業有限公司所陳列展區時，有個東西吸引了我的視覺。

那就是軌跡球。畢竟軌跡球在台灣現在只剩少數廠商在做。所以我就多停了幾秒鐘，來研究一下軌跡球。沒想到，這一停，就停出了一個小小的火花。還記得兩個多月前，個人所介紹的戒指軌跡球嗎？原來呀，戒指軌跡球是台灣廠商做的。

在短短的時間內用起來，簡單的心得：的確是個很有趣的小東西。

<Computex 2009: RichPower Trackball Ring>
While trolling the showground, something from the showroom of RichPower Electronic Devices Co., LTD caught our attention.
The trackball products are rare products now, with only a handful of manufacturer in Taiwan still making it. In here we made a small discovery about the trackball ring from Japan we reported on two month ago. This little gadget is actually made in Taiwan.

After a quick trial in the showroom, we have to say, this is a fairly interesting gadget.

個人也跟廠商人員聊了一下，也挖出了這戒指軌跡球一些的故事。

說起來還頗神奇，製作這個產品的靈魂人物，對於軌跡球很有獨到的見解。在四年多前，曾經坐飛機時被請到坐頭等艙，結果剛好提到飛機座位的大未來，談到相關的裝置將會如何如何。因此也就提供了這個戒指軌跡球產生的靈感。推出了不傷害手腕，也不用在桌面上使用的輸入裝置。

Apart from the small surprise of finding out this trackball is actually made in Taiwan, we also found out the story behind the invention of this little gadget.

Four years ago, the inventor of this product was invited to sit in first class cabinet during one of his flight trips. During a conversation about how the change of airplane seats would affect the design of related peripherals, the idea of this wrist-safe, use-without-a-table gadget was born.

廠商還有一個新東西，我也實在很難確定這是不是好用，一款隨身碟型的軌跡球。目前因為只是原型機，是不能運作的，所以也就沒有辦法試看看了。
The manufacturer also got one new gadget on display, a USB key-like trackball. However, since the prototype unit is a non-functional display, we could not try it, therefore can't tell how good or bad this would work.
