此篇文章並沒有提到同樣也是台北捷運負責的環狀線（黃線），目前環狀線西環段（十四張站至五股工業區站）已經開始興建，預計 2015 年 12 月完工。

我指的是香港在完成主線後，作延伸用的線路發展比較慢，不是說整體捷運的發展。（回歸那幾年幾乎停止了發展）
如果整體的發展，我覺得香港地鐡當然比較好，比較高。而且經過多年的使用，地鐡本身也存在發展的必要，以補充及緩減現有地鐡擠迫的情況。

作為遊客來說，台北捷運的覆蓋還不是很廣，至少有些旅遊點都要換乘的士，對於背包客來說是頗為不便的。所以個人也希望台北捷運會繼續擴展路線，幫我省點交通的時間和開支就好了！XD

對於石先生的看法，我是有點保留。
其實如果把準備動工的西港島線（建成後與港島線直通運行，所以事實上這只是港島線的伸延）和沙中線（建成後，沙田至紅磡段與馬鞍山線直通，紅磡至金鐘段與東鐵線直通），還有規劃中的南港島線一併考慮在內，港鐵的框架建本上已經完成了－鐵路已經覆蓋各個人口稠密的地方，接下來就是一些左修右補。相比之下台北捷運仍是發展當中，要擴展的空間大得很，一年一條線是有可能的。

而且喊了好久的環狀運輸跟台鐵地下化都進行緩慢... 公車又不長進.

這讓高雄捷運更雪上加霜.
