我是比較豪華的拿AMD的1.8G雙核和ATI內建顯示的筆電在校園裡晃，除了那顆電池不太行以外已經夠用了。我學弟更威猛，買一台二手的EEEPC初代機(600還是630MHZ在跑的U+4G的FLASH硬碟)就是他的全部了；據說除了像MATLAB之類肥大的程式可能裝起來有困難以外其他都很好

不好意思，你電池只剩下不到15%。

而且有獨顯後，機身溫度三級跳。
沒有散熱底座，我根本不想把手放NB上超過15分鐘。
至於那種放腿上的輕便感？可能換成烤肉/烤玉米/烤鳥蛋感更貼切事實。

所以，你花大錢買了一台NB，但是卻從此只能接著插座跑，
也不敢隨意挪開散熱墊使用...

我用了三年的獨顯筆電還可以撐兩個多小時啊

還只有 6 cell 電池

我個人是覺得夠用了，會議時就算不插電源，提早到十五分鐘把投影機等等設定好然後就可以讓電腦待機了。開始會議／討論以後，簡報四十分鐘加上討論時間基本上還是綽綽有餘。當然這還要看公司／學校文化的差異啦。如果就是那種喜歡一開會就開掉大半天的，那不管怎樣都是要帶電源吧。

再加上一個2~3公斤的Mac，你覺得你的背開始痛了......

十多分鐘後，你到了教室，
而你的打開Mac打開老師的PDF或PPT檔(沒有的話那桌上就有的擠了......)，
開始用文書處理軟體打筆記，
然後你發現你的打字速度永遠跟不上老師抄黑板的速度，
而當老師開始畫圖表時，你還得默默的從包包裡抽出一張紙快速的畫上圖，
不時抱怨學校桌面太小，同時注意手肘不要打到旁邊的同學，
等到考試前複習時，你盯著13吋的螢幕痛苦的閱讀你的筆記，
猶豫著要不要去計中跟印報告的同學搶座位把筆記印出來
(住宿生限定，住家裡的也不要高興得太早，因為你的印表機可能印到一半沒墨水)，
(當然，這時候跟強者伸筆記是比較正確的做法，
但是要小心不要被嗆：「你不是都用筆電做筆記嗎，應該是我要找你伸吧!」)
最後，
當考試卷發下來，你發現有些東西你沒讀過，
事後跟同學討論時
你發才現那是老師口頭帶過的東西，
而你那時正搶在老師擦黑板之前
趕著把字打完所以沒聽到考試重點。
(以上情境於部分醫學系不適用，因為全班會做共筆)

你放棄了，把他放在宿舍裡當桌電用。
偶而討論分組報告時帶去跟同學討論要如何修改。
但在討論時有人的ideal你聽不太懂，
於是他說：「那我直接弄給你看!」
你很Nice的把筆電的主控權交給他，
可是當他要修改時，他發現!
「靠!你這台電腦要怎麼用阿!
我要改行距啦、縮排啦、圖片要加字啦......」
於是你又很Nice的把筆電拿回來照著他的意思改
但怎麼都不能如他的意.......
於是下次你把修正稿印給大家，
而他在上面邊說邊畫之後，你總算搞懂他在表達甚麼。

而當你期末報告截止前一天時你發現因為你的圖文並茂讓檔案太大而
Macbook小小的CPU應付不了這麼大的檔案頻頻給你熱當時
你的打字速度又卡在那小小的鍵盤上時
你深深的後悔為什麼當初不買桌機放在宿舍/家裡.......」

1）重量 任何筆電都差不多吧 不只 Macbook 是這樣
2）打字 打字會比寫字慢？這肯定不是 Macbook 的問題，快去練打字，不然什麼電腦都不會用。
3）聽不到講義：買 Macbook 吧，可以錄音（錄影也可）
4）排版 你知道 Mac 的專長嗎？圖像音樂排版，Cool 只是附屬品。 MS Office 也有 Mac 版的吖
5）檔案太大會當機 ...... Orz 這個當笑話吧....

(考慮3萬的價格，不然那台桌機是Mac也很好啊~)
還有我設定的不是"所有的"Mac
而是投票第一名的那台Mac

"那一台"使用keynote做近30MB的投引片(付動畫)會熱當我是親身體過的
(而且那次的報告的確也是要弄得那麼大，這種很多人的檔案混在一起作業時是常有的事)
況且有的時候不是打字的問題，而是同時要打式子+文字+畫圖表就有的你玩了
(還是你想嗆說有Latex，別傻了又不是要交論文也不是要幫老師出課本)
更不要提教授本來畫的圖到最後又塗塗改改擴充一大堆到你根本看不懂
你本來想好不容易畫完又要再改一次
錄音則更好笑了，你敢上課時同時開錄音軟體跟文書處理軟體嗎
(這還是教授准你錄的情況，有些教授還不准錄的哩)
就算你敢，自己想想兩小時的錄音檔案會有多大
更別提一般學生會在花兩個以上的小時去聽檔案或打逐字稿(我就做過這種事)
還有兩個小時的上課逐字稿大概是十五萬字
你修六門課再加上一篇報告約二十萬字假如不c&p純自己打以兩個月交一次兩科要交下去攤
一個禮拜就近百萬字
你再用那種爛鍵盤打打看阿，我就不相信你手不廢掉!
(我還沒講假如你"不小心"修了計程或教授要你跑MatLab的情況呢)

當然啦，假如你所謂的"大學生"沒有那麼用功
那我也不覺得他需要筆電吧

現在想想我回你也不值得，因為你根本就文不對(我的)題
我在討論適合一般大學生使用的筆電，你在跟我說Mac的專長
(歐你說音樂編輯是吧，私以為Audacity就很好用了，圖像的話Google大神的Picasa也很好用阿
