用3.5G船路況資訊不一定會更好，首先RDS-TMC訊息只是純文字的xml，資料量不大，副載波的頻寬是可以負擔的，用3.5G有點殺雞用牛刀的感覺，另外RDS-TMC服務目前免費，用3.5G就傷荷包了。所以未來除非有「路況影像」之類的服務，否則3.5G/WiMax之類的大頻寬方案，並沒有太多助益。
