Windows 7上市日期敲定：10/22！

我們知道微軟一直急著要把Windows 7丟出來，好收拾Vista所造成的爛攤子。但這次公布的日期實在驚人：在2009/10/22，所有的消費者都可以買到Windows 7盒裝版！（注意，一般來說隨機版都會比盒裝版早一兩個月交給廠商，也就說Windows 7真的快完成了）所有的Windows 7迷們，請把這個日期牢記在心，癮科技到時也會再三提醒各位的！

想不到RC版過四個月就又要重灌了...

不知各版本會賣多少錢呢, 先前還傳會賣的比 Vista 貴.

學Vista的新介面要花時間，還不一定會增加生產力。而且學習新介面的過程還會碰到UAC的干擾、各種Prefetch的干擾之類的，導致學習Vista非常的挫折。

相較之下，Windows 7雖然介面上大致上跟Vista是一樣的，但是光是反應速度跟XP相比沒有變慢，就足以讓我跨過Vista的挫折了。

老問題：為什麼我要從xp換到windows7 ?
老答案：上市後觀望半年後再說吧，好用的話，至少必須使用的工具都成熟轉換了。

No Doubt, change into Windows 7 is a must, no matter from Win XP / Vista. (in personally say)

Business area ma ... I think Windows XP can work for 3 more years :-p

First of all, I am a Hong Kong people, sorry that cannot type Chinese here:

Well, I am the user since win 7 beta build 7000 and I used windows vista since 2007 Nov.

it was a nightmate of vista about driver support from the beginning, even 3com 3c905 network card, Adaptec 2940UW SCSI card has not driver supported at that moment (my situation), also cannot use back windows XP driver (before SP1 release... finally I have change into 29160UW SCSI card ~.~) ---- may be it still too early at 2007 for vista, actually 80% of hardware vendor has no driver build for it. (even worst are, old / outdated / disconintue item has no new driver :p)

If you compare between windows XP / vista and windows 7, you will understand the different between core 5 and 6.x different, memory / resources management, process handle; also the security setting (ok , UAC in vista is a bit shit / stupid, but the concept is posstive, then modified from Win7, much better and finally be a "useful" vesrion) , internal ADVANCED firewall setting (if you know how to use it), new task bar (i forgotten the specified terms for it), many many things that win7 is much better then Vista.

At lesat, my Thinkpad T42 running Win7 with most advanced system engine (core); which better and faster then WinXP --- when you installed numbers of applications.

I did used almost all versions of boxed sell windows, I know each OS must be blamed durning version change and normal user are always (or only) use their OWN FEELING to judge "How good is the OS / system / software" --- feeling, can be very perosnal and always being effected by someone else, too. --- especially they even not understand what kind of hardware should run which kind of system that fit to.

Even Mac OSX, if you don't have enough memory, it will running painful slow, too. (compare 1GB / 2GB RAM -- for example)

What I said "Must" means: for current / new generation of hardawre based computer, (may be Atom kind of CPU are not so maching too, even slower then low end core duo :p ) for a better functions (or say, UI , convenience usage, else), stable and performanced MICROSOFT Based OS, Windows 7 is a "must" change OS , compare to Vista and XP , too

Well... I still suggest Atom based PC should run back xp better :p, because processor prower might not fast enough, but if SSD become cheaper, Atom + faster SSD can be a good combination for win7 too ! --- I did try from my Lenovo S10 + Mtron 3500 series SSD)
