廣東話是現今保留最多古音的華語因為自元朝到清朝整個華語體系都被北方的外來語影響, 讀音改變（就像現在的外來語, 什麼沙發, 吐司）就只有廣東一帶受的影響最少（也是唯一保留絶大部份平仄音的華語）所以全世界學古代中國文學的都被建議學廣東話P.S.繁體中文己正名為正體中文

廣東話是現今保留最多古音的華語
因為自元朝到清朝整個華語體系都被北方的外來語影響, 讀音改變
（就像現在的外來語, 什麼沙發, 吐司）
就只有廣東一帶受的影響最少（也是唯一保留絶大部份平仄音的華語）
所以全世界學古代中國文學的都被建議學廣東話
P.S.繁體中文己正名為正體中文
