以前就有在看AV-Comparatives，它是每一季都做一次各防毒軟體的測試評鑑。以目前查得到的紀錄來看，趨勢科技的防毒軟體在2004年和2005年很"平凡無奇"的表現之後，2006年開始就不再提供產品給AV-Comparatives做測試這招真令人無話可說....不參加比賽就不會輸不會丟臉阿！然後剛剛發現其實2007年三月時AV-Comparatives有另外對趨勢科技的Trend Micro AntiVirus 2008做測試，但是因為成績不理想，所以趨勢科技的軟體也沒有在2007年任一季的測試結果中出現....應該就是沒有參加正式的測試吧....
