不過就我瞭解，回收業者是有回收光碟，而且收購價還不錯。1公斤約20元，約4片廢片就有一元。各位可進露天拍賣打"光碟回收"就可找到一大堆業者訊息)。

　台哥大有類似的服務，但是服務內容與美國的不盡相同；基本上就是由台灣大哥大的 myPhone 門市負責充當手機回收點，並且定期將回收手機交予回收業者處理，由於國內並無專業的手機回收廠商，所以回收程序中並沒有「翻修再利用」這一道手續，基本上在台灣被回收的手機就是直接進焚化爐，並且取回其中的貴金屬。

　這家負責為台哥大處理手機的廠商叫作「萬順顧問開發有限公司」，是一家甲級廢棄物處理廠商；由於美國等先進國家有大量廢棄物處理公司向外國出口廢料（到國外倒垃圾）或非法掩埋的先例，台灣地區處理廢棄物的成本日漸升高已類似美國，因此國人應嚴加查核此類公司是否有類似行為。

畢竟台灣的人事成本比較高，有的堪用零件拆解後送往大陸深X，
