色調跟 mosaic 的排列方式無太大關係，即便是 foveon 的 x3 一樣要面臨色調的調整問題。排列方式主要跟畫素插補有關，好的技巧可以提供較高的解像力。superccd 也沒文章中說的問題，他目標只是讓單位面積上，感光區域比例更大，同時各畫素鄰近的不同顏色畫素更多，能讓解析度更高。在同畫數下，superccd 銳利度是高於 mosaic 型式的。
