　飛利浦取得老任授權後所製作的薩爾達傳說，由於完全沒有考量承接系列版本遊戲的風格與製作精神，一味利用 CD-I 的機械特性去強調所謂「影片遊戲」的效果，缺乏思考的製作導致整個遊戲不倫不類，遊戲過程中常令人驚呼「What the hell?!」，所以老任至今不承認 CD-I 上三款薩爾達作品的存在。

　瑪莉兄弟的狀況同薩爾達，不過更加猥瑣。
