WD發表Scorpio 7200轉320GB筆記型電腦硬碟

WD再次搶佔2.5吋硬碟領域，推出了新的Scorpio Black系列2.5吋筆記型電腦硬碟，轉速為7200rpm，最高容量為320GB。這款硬碟具有低耗電、超低熱量以及噪音，採用 SATA 3Gb/s，最高傳輸速率為100MB/s，16MB記憶體，讀寫功耗為2.5W，空閒及休眠狀態下功耗分別為0.85和0.15瓦特。工作和空閒時的平均噪音分別為25和22分貝。容量分為80/120/160/250/320GB五種規格。該系列硬碟擁有WD IntelliSeek、SecurePark、ShockGuard和WhisperDrive技術，並且搭載了加速度感應器，以防止不慎墜落對資料造成損失。320GB要價249美元。
