我相信Mr. Pistorius身為一名卓越的運動員, 心中想挑戰的是最高的運動殿堂, 並且他想證明, 他也可以與一般運動員較量, 因為他與一般人並無二致.

別說應用義肢的身殘人士應該可以入場, 提高成績的泳衣、服裝、鞋子、配備什麼的應該解禁, 使用興奮劑, 身體改造, 機械輔助載具等等的更應該開放鼓勵.

把現在這些遮遮掩掩的東西正大光明的擺上台面, 讓奧運成為世界最大科技的實驗場. 如此一來不但可以促進機械、電子、醫藥等等的科技發展, 更可以造福殘胞及行動不便人士.

長遠來的說, 說不定在公開競爭下, 可以讓科技發展有跳躍式的進步, 在科技的加持下將人類的身體變成新世代的軀體, 提供能源危機的另一種解決方式 (想想若一個人能輕輕鬆鬆的背負數十公斤的物體以近百公里, 如獵豹般的時速跑上一兩個小時的話, 交通工具的需求就會大幅減少了, 市區根本不需要捷運、摩托車, 跑兩步就到目的地).

發言中說到解決能源危機什麼的, 確實是半個狂想, 但人體改造、藥物輔助、機械輔助載具什麼的, 是真誠的希望如此. 如發言中所說的, 奧運已經變成大國宣揚國力的戰場. 既然如此, 何不利用這份好戰天性, 轉化成實際有用的科技競爭? 如同歷史中因為戰爭而推動的科技進步, 既然有這個不造成傷亡的戰場, 何不利用這份能量做出真正的進步?

我知道在部分的國家中, 部分針對運動員的科技研究, 是有被轉移到應用於造福身殘障礙人士. 但絕大部分的相關研究資源, 還是只限制在應用於四肢俱全的運動員. 我所想的, 是開放一切, 包括無限制的允許身殘人士參加, 最好是打敗 "正常人", 這樣研究資源才可能分散到可以"順道"造福世人的研究.

在我的發言中針對的是奧運本身, 不是運動員. 對於運動選手真的很傷什麼的, 是崇拜個人光輝榮耀的您所做的過度聯想, 不是我話中的本意. 當留下前次留言時, 我想到的是科技能如何照亮人間. 也許是只有我一個人想太多, 但我覺得, 那份光亮, 才是真正的榮耀.
