　我將 SP3 安裝到三部機器上，CPU 分別是 2G、1G、600MHz，記憶體 2G、1G、512MB，這三部機器原本都已安裝 SP2 的 XP Home Edition。

　安裝完畢以後三部都沒有明顯有關的當機發生，但是越老舊的機器變慢得越明顯，特別是拷貝檔案時明顯可以感到速度不如以往，CPU 使用率較以往高，以碼表手動測量 50GB 檔案在兩部不同的 IDE 硬碟間進行複製，數據上明顯可看出消耗時間大約增加了 10%～15% 左右。

　安裝防毒軟體以後可以明顯感受到開啟特定資料夾時會有延遲（Trend Micro Office Scan、AntiVir、avast!），關閉防毒軟體的即時掃描功能後感到延遲的情況改善很多。

　簡單來說就是，IDE 硬碟的存取效能似乎下降了（不論是任何晶片、任何配備等級），Firefox、OOo 等軟體的開啟速度因此跟著變慢，但是非常令人詫異的是，Office XP、Office 2007 似乎不受到任何影響，甚至還有點變快。

　對於配備 2G CPU/2GB Memory 以上硬體的用戶來說，除非是碰到大檔案的移動或複製，否則應該是不太容易發現哪裡變慢；此外，關於 AMD CPU 的當機問題，目前只有看到一部 Opteron 遇到無法開機的情況，其他 Athlon XP 32/64 電腦則悉數正常。

不過之前有安裝「白老鼠」版本，遇到連線數無法更改..（這問題問了一些人，他們也信誓旦旦說可以改）...算了，先移除

在安裝正式發佈版本後，就可經輕鬆更換

不過，號稱10％的快速..只有在開機時有稍微感應到..

也有好幾次的IE無回應與系統無回應.....

還有CPU莫名的就會飆高到100%.....

三台電腦都有裝 有兩台有這個情形
