之前我們已經看過會說話（事實上是只能發母音，也就是舌頭、下顎可以動一動，但又不能產生有效氣阻塞的機器嘴；要產生定義上的子音，大部分要以舌頭來產生一定的氣阻塞、干擾，甚至還要包括鼻腔等部位的配合，據說這個東京大學的計畫還在努力中；對這方面有興趣的朋友可以參考一下語音學，雖然他是一門很無聊的科目...喔！超級離題！）的機器嘴，不過光會說，其實還不夠滿足生化機器人的主要需求 -- 生存！（一顆不會爆的電池不就夠了？）

要活就是要吃！由 Gaëlle Arvisenet 領軍的一個團隊，最近發表了上面這張可以咀嚼、流口水的機器口器；這個將在下一期的農業及食品化學期刊（Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry）上出現的機器，能夠模仿人類口腔消化的幾個關鍵步驟，包括咀嚼、分泌唾液、食物的初步分解等。

為了讓機器本身能夠達到更貼近人體的實際狀況，研究人員還不斷拿被人嚼過的蘋果跟被機器啃過的蘋果，來個相當仔細的分析，並且持續做出修正；目前他們已經能夠讓被咬過的蘋果，在顏色、氣味、表面成份變化方面跟在活體的狀況接近；很好！審判日不遠了！

為什麼這則新聞讓我毛骨悚然？發明這種東西的最初目的何在？有熟悉內情的能人可以解釋一下嗎？

有很多發明是因為"我們先想到了"以及"因為我們做得到"而做的...當然其中也有一些在後來有被人發揮出創造者沒有想到過的用途就是了
