用機器松鼠和真松鼠打交道

松鼠是種看似具有高度智商，警覺性很高的小動物，這或許是因為牠們擔心儲藏的松果被別人偷走，另一方面也可能是牠們真的在規畫什麼秘密行動( 至少呆伯特是這麼跟我說的 )。

為了能夠更貼近了解松鼠們的想法與溝通方式，漢普夏( Hampshire )大學動物行為學助理教授 – Sarah Partan 研發出一台名為「洛基 (Rocky)」的機器松鼠，透過筆記型電腦無線搖控尾巴的擺動方式，或是播放預錄好的松鼠叫聲，藉以和松鼠打成一片。

那麼這計畫成功了嗎？嗯，看起來好像是有那麼一回事：至少長的很怪異的洛基沒把松鼠嚇跑，而且看起來好像也能獲得真松鼠的一些回應。只是這回應是「您好？」還是「讓我想想，怎麼把這個玩意拆掉搬回家裡當裝飾品」，這個就還有待 Sarah 好好分析一下了。

將機器松鼠商品化後的收益應該會比研究還可觀許多
