果蠅在生物研究上的貢獻是非常非常大的喔(因為好養，繁殖快，生命週期短)。主要拿來做基因&染色體&神經系統的研究。《果蠅－閃亮的生命科學研究先驅》這本書不錯。更推薦《探索昆蟲微小腦》這本算是很有用的書。日本人寫的。書裡頭寫的某些機制，應該可以拿來做特定用途的機器人。
