還可以"人眼最自然的觀看方向是左右方向"的噱頭加速合理化他們的立場
廠商在這方面是成本Cost down了，但我似乎沒感受到售價方面有降低多少

如果非得選寬螢幕的話，我會想在看網頁時把螢幕轉直的...

同樣是13.3"的4:3跟16:9的LED,而家4:3的面積是大一點的,引申至生產成本都會高一點.
這點可以從多年前的等離子(電漿)電視到近年的LCD電視都是這個原因而發展成16:9的.

從人的視覺角度去討論這個問題.
一般人看到的/大腦感受到的.都要橫向為主的.
這樣可以給生產商一個強烈的理由去發展16:9的顯示屏.

16:9 有沒有比較好? 我覺得解析度比較重要, 解析度夠高.
4:3 or 16:9 其實沒太大差異.
不過話說回來, T61 (16:9)的版本長得有夠醜...
現在大概只剩下還有競爭力的價格+原本對於ThinkPad(小紅點?)的支持才會想去買吧...
網頁其實也還沒那麼多需要左右拉的.

門檻低一點的樓梯就會標"小心碰頭", 但是窄一點的門卻不會標"小心碰臉頰"

只要你面對前方,通常很不可能臉會撞到左右的東西,但卻很有可能撞到頭上的東西..


其實想想很怪,很多人因為廠商可以cost down 就心生批評,認為寬螢幕是騙錢.

但卻不知道,當初CRT就是因為要cost down才設計出4:3這種奇怪的比例...

你知道CRT時代,一台32吋16:9的寬螢幕要多少錢嗎?







30萬跑不掉.....

如果用4:3 看16:10 片子 會有黑邊/ mon變相縮少了

打機來說因為 16:10 pixel 比較少 感觀反而比同尺寸4:3mon好
也因為pixel 少 3d 處理也比較快

16:10 好處
1. 成本較低
2. 同視覺感觀 3d 處理資源比較少
3. 看影片時 size較少 但可視area 反而更大
