舊款 Mac Pro（未支援 PCIe 2.0 機種）使用者，總算是等到了這一天的來臨，是的！蘋果終於是丟出了支援 PCIe 1.0 的 NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 顯示卡升級套件；而顯示卡本身的規格並沒有啥改變，同樣還是有著雙 DVI 輸出及 512MB 的 GDDR3 RAM，而為了區分這兩組套件的不同，蘋果在官網上，也總算清楚標示了新舊款 Mac Pro 適用套件的不同。

如果讀者準備要殺下去升級，記得要看一下自己的荷包，看看是不是真的有 279 美元就是。
