IBM的CPU應該也搞不過Intel吧！當初IBM幫Cyrix代工也是這樣，IBM跟Motorola還有Apple聯合研發的Power系列也是這樣。技術好是一回事，價格、市場、市場策略、面市時間點以及良率又是另外一件事。IBM之前有自己的伺服器，所以有自己的CPU，HP甚至SUN都放棄自行開發CPU了，改採用INTEL的CPU。INTEL也曾把DEC的CPU部門吃下來。INTEL的市場策略以及價格還有良率技術是無法否定的。
