但最後都逃不了有線網絡
在偏遠地區鋪WiMAX才有用
所以2樓說沒什麼建設性是真的
唯一的好處是頻寬快

說到頻寬大，
最新的802.11n((WiFi)也號稱可以100Mbps到300bps，
在人多範圍較小的熱點區適合用WiFi不適合WiMAX，
高速移動而範圍廣則適合使用WiMAX而非WiFi，
兩者應用情境並不相同。

還有二樓所說沒什麼建設性應該不是指WiMAX...

如果說 WiMax的誕生是取代 Wifi
是個嚴重的錯誤
但是可以稱作技術上的擴充與放大

WiMax 是 WWAN 為架構
Wifi 是WLAN 為架構

所以你家用Wifi根本不需要跟政府買執照
而架設WiMax需要政府開放執照

現在都過度看好這個產業

會賺錢的是那些硬體支援的廠商
消費者能不能得利... 還很難講
