Olympus 也玩笑容偵測，FE 系列消費級數位相機

Olympus 一下子拿出了4款FE系列消費型機種。帶隊的是1200萬像素 FE-300，1/1.72吋 CCD，TruePic III圖像處理引擎，17種場景模式，Xd記憶卡擴充，2.5吋 LCD，22.1mm厚的FE-300。

其次是FE-290，雖然少了FE300的臉部偵測功能，但710萬像素，1/2.5吋 CCD，3吋 LCD，4×光學變焦廣角鏡頭的配置也算主流了。身材超窈窕的FE-280僅19.1mm厚，800萬像素，1/2.35" CCD，令人驚訝的是該機內建了與新力Cybershot T200相似的笑容偵測模組（你不笑我再怎麼按快門都沒用喔！)。

差點把最低階的FE-270給忘了，710萬像素，其他規格和FE-290差不多。上述機種於9月上市。
