COMPUTEX 2007：Pretec miCARD 真的有！

主站 Engadget 透過資訊蒐集取得的資料，有時甚至快於我們 COMPUTEX 2007 現場所作的報導。這款我們報導過、由 Pretec 所推出的 miCard，小編終於在第三館的攤位中尋得。和展場人員懇談之後，得到關於 miCard 進一步的消息：

• 大家所看到的 miCard 為第二代產品，第一代產品照片跳展全文可看到，第一代產品只有 9 個 pin 腳，不能轉接成主流記憶卡（SD 記憶卡）。
• 第二代，就是 miCard 將於下個月量產銷售，可轉接為 SD/MMC 記憶卡使用。
• 第二代 miCard 缺點在於耗電量較高，將於年底推出的第三代產品將會解決這個問題，好讓 miCard 可應用在隨身攜帶產品，在第三代產品 Pretec 將會推出 MS/MS Duo 轉接卡，PSP 玩家有福囉！

It's surprising how our pals in the states actually get Computex info faster then us on the scene. We finally managed to locate the Pretec miCard in an obscure corner, and dug out these bits of information:

• This miCard is actually a second generation product. The first generation wasn't compatible with any of the mainstream memory cards, and never took off.
• miCards will hit the market next month.
• miCards draw a bit too much power, so a third generation product is in the works to make it more suited to portable products. Third generation miCards will gain support to MS/MS Duo through an adaptor, so PSP owners rejoice!
