I'm going to have to disagree with you eno. This is the PERFECT PC for a lot of people.
Most laptops today are used as overpriced word processors.
If you think about it, most people(including "adults") only use laptops for:
Instant Messaging Web browsing
And not much else.
Since it's linux, it'd be great for sysadmins or any linux geek. Also, with the $200 price, it's no big deal if you break your eee PC, since you can always get another one. You can't say that for a $2000 PC.
I also think the eee PC should be renamed the "coffee shop PC". Essentially, you can use it as your second laptop for when you leave the office. You can take it to your coffee or whatever and keep in contact(without lugging around your really expensive, valuable laptop). Again, it's no big deal if you spill coffee on it. You can always get another one.
