無線傳輸 USB Hub

如果各位像阿弟一樣以筆記型電腦維生的話，一定會常常發生 USB 埠不夠的窘境。這時解決的方法通常是接個 USB Hub，不過這麼一來，我就得面對最討厭的麻煩－超多線材捆在一起的問題。

Wisair 這家公司可能意識到這個問題，推出了超寬頻 Wisair Ultra Wideband (UWB)，透過無線的方式進行 USB 資料傳輸。具官方宣稱，這玩意資料傳輸速度最高可達 480 Mbps，傳輸距離最遠可達 30 英呎。

無線傳輸是透過什麼方式呢，藍芽或WiFi嗎？如 UWB 這樣的超寬頻無線傳輸將透過 WiMedia 聯盟來制定一個新的傳輸技術，未來下一代的藍芽也可能透過這種技術傳輸，目前 Windows Vista 和 Intel 也將支援 WiMedia 技術。

如果類似的技術成熟，希望未來應用在數位相機和印表機上。我們能夠透過數位相機大量快速地將照片傳到電腦或網路上，投影機也能即時接收來自於個人電腦上得資料投影。當然這些產品目前市面上都有了，只是還不夠好，也不夠成熟啦！

Wireless USB 不是出現很久了???

這篇重點應該放在UWB上.
Ultra Wide Band.
而優點是低耗電.低成本.高傳輸速率.
速率可從53.3Mbps~480Mbps.
距離只允許~10公尺之內.
標準好像是802.153a

這個標準的未來展望是用在..家電與家電之間的通訊.
假設.電腦和喇叭之間的傳輸速度低於480Mbps就可以考慮用這種方式傳輸.
減少線材使用.
不然就是音響與喇叭之間.電視和電腦之間的連線等等

另外就是本篇文章提到的應用.

所以藍芽的定位在哪裡?
無線USB???
這種東西應該可以早該出現的吧
