Vista：一片DVD，全部搞定

假設微軟沒有食言的話，Vista應該在明年初時與大家見面。那麼對於生產商來說，如何包裝這麼多彩多姿的Vista版本呢？外觀我們就先不管了，至少內容物現在確定是一模一樣了。是的，所有的Vista版本都將使用同樣的單片DVD內容，你再也不需要去想拿到的是Business還是Home Basic還是...管他什麼版了。

那麼，我們為什麼要買不同的錢買不同的版本呢？微軟宣布了一項新的技術：Windows Anytime Upgrade。簡單的說，他可以依據你輸入的序號來判斷你要安裝的是什麼版本，然後自動安裝上對應的軟體。所以你花的錢越多，拿到的序號就越高級。而當你想要升級時，只要去網路上刷一下，就可以用拿到的序號直接安裝。不過與其說是為了方便升級，這恐怕是讓買錯版本的人可以快速的再試一套吧！

不過，既然內容物一樣，那麼我們真的得要多付錢來買更高級的版本嗎？世界各地的駭客們想必已經開始摩拳擦掌一番了。到時如果被抓到了什麼漏洞，微軟勢必又得大張旗鼓一番了！

同一樣的軟件分多個價錢售賣，係MS才做到這樣下流！

以前的Windows NT 4 Workstation/Server也是如此,仅是registry不同.
