在 Dell 還在積極調查火燒筆電事件的原因始末時，有消息來源指出，在2003和2004年間，Dell 還未召回任何筆記型電腦之前，就有「和公司和當密切的人士」看過一些 Dell 筆電「火燒」、「熔化」和「烤焦」的文件照片。當然，我們無法保證消息來源的正確性，不過既然筆電電池都能把飛機燒成火雞的話，大家還是得小心點防範不是嗎？
