2006 中國國際消費電子博覽會（SINOCES）開幕式 7 月 7 日正式開幕。SINOCES 是"中國國際消費電子博覽會"的英文簡稱，原名是"中國國際電子家電博覽會"，本屆博覽會將舉辦4天，展覽規模3.5萬平方米，標準攤位1200個，主題是"世界自U而變"。參展企業392多家，匯集了眾多的世界500強企業及海內外知名消費電子品牌；會廠採買商300多家，幾乎涵蓋了世界範圍內的所有大型家電連鎖商。
