利用菲利浦技術的光療法

正當菲利浦正在為了 Ledfoil（一種 LED 發光元件）找不到市場發愁之際，幸好剛從荷蘭 Delft 大學畢業的這位 Philomeen Engels 及時提供了一盞明燈。

為了患有克果納傑氏症候群（Crigler-Najjar，一種遺傳性膽血紅素代謝疾病，必須靠照光來分解一樣叫 bilirubine 的毒素）的病患不用受躺在床上十二小時光治療所苦，利用菲力浦的這項技術，患者可以利用這件名為 Ledwrap，在兩層衣物間共有十二組 Ledfoil，作為睡袋，也可以提供較自由活動空間-不過是在一定限度之下，畢竟這麼多的 LED 要耗上的電池也是可觀，電線的錯雜，多少還是會讓人小小的行動不便。

Engels 希望能在一年內讓第一件 Ledwrap 上市，這似乎是太樂觀了點，畢竟還尚未經過臨床試驗，可能需要要再久一點吧！
