LCD 和電漿電視間的戰爭或許在此暫時平息了，LG.Philips 發表世界最大的 LCD 螢幕，有多大？100 吋這麼大，並擁有 5ms 反應時間、3000:1 的對比以及 180 度的視角。比起三星的 82 吋 LCD（新力大喊，我們也有阿！），LG.Philips 又略勝一籌，不過還是小輸 Panasonic 103 吋電漿電視原型機。

雖然上述三款螢幕還處於嘴砲隔空喊話階段，所以先別急著到 3C 賣場看實品（就算有實品，大家買的下手嗎？）。話雖如此，不過我們更樂見由於 LCD 尺寸愈來愈大，價格卻愈來愈低的情況下，迫使電漿電視在價格和尺寸有更高的親和力，對我們這些消費大眾來說，無疑是好事一樁啦！
