Toshiba Gigabeat S 隨身媒體播放器前測

看來不只是我們驚豔於 Toshiba Gigabeat S 隨身播放器的魅力，科技大哥網站 CNET 搶先對這款新玩意進行了前測的動作，並搭配使用微軟 Portable Media Center 軟體試用一番。經由 Toshiba 的巧手，把「極簡易」的 PMC 軟體嵌入這款小巧的隨身播放器。

CNET 還發現 Toshiba Gigabeat S 支援的多媒體格式中還包含 DivX，另外原本支援的 WMA 格式也擴張到如 MTV 即將推出的 Urge 服務，並相容於 TivoToGo、Media Center 錄製以及最新吃到飽的 Starz Vongo 電影付費下載服務。

另外，CNET 認為 Toshiba Gigabeat S 在螢幕和操作按鍵的表線上算是「中規中矩」的，不過側邊的小按鈕感覺得起來就「有點彆扭，」尤其在實際操作導覽的時候。不過無論如何，我們都希望 Gigabeat S 正式上市時將是一款成功的 PMC 裝置。
