Sony 82吋 LCD HDTV 世界第一款運用 xvYCC 技術的顯示器

對於四號晚間在 Sony 媒體發表會中見識到的這台 82吋 Bravia LCD 原型，我們現在有了更深入的了解。這款 Sony 82吋的 Bravia（Best Resolution Audio Visual Intergrated Architecture）系列液晶電視全真解析度高達 1920 x 1080，它是首款運用 Sony Extended Video YCC（xvYCC）技術的顯示器。

而 xvYCC 國際影像標準的精神在於將現有色域擴大約 1.8倍來加強色彩複製功能（a wider color reproduction），因此，運用 xvYCC 技術的顯示器，所表現出來的色彩將十分接近人類視覺可自行辨識的色彩範圍。

這個 82吋的顯示器原型也支援 TRILUMINOS 背光科技，利用一個三原色（紅、綠、藍）的 LED 背光源來強化 xvYCC 的色彩複製功能。
